A unique, rich, and gluttonous heaven! I can't even tell you how many years I've gone to The Ex JUST for the crazy food creations - now I don't have to wait until August or pay to get in! Everything I've ordered has been awesome and people I've taken have all agreed that this is the place to indulge. I've been to the old location loads of times and visited the new one a few already too - the new spot is set up way better and they even have placemats and these lightbox things to use for posting photos. If you're lookin for fine dining this isn't the spot, but if you want some creative and tasty grub on your cheat day, then I recommend checkin them out.

I just ordered the "meat monster deep dish" and WOW! Authentic chicago taste, they pre-cut the pizza, and each slice is packed with meat and cheese, the crust was super tasty and thick, definitely recommend this place and a great toronto/chicago experience!

The food was amazing! I got the mac & cheese poutine it was so good was the portion was big for under $10. I got the cookie dough as well and it was delicious! For those who complain about the "grainy" texture of the cookie dough i don't think they understand that it's not ice cream it's supposed to be that texture.

We decided to go and check out the deep dish pizza, the pizzas were great. I have to say they are on par with Chicago deep dish!!! doesn't hurt that they guys are very easy on the eyes also ! We will go back and try the whole menu one item at a time

The birthday cake and cookies and cream cookie dough cups are amazing! They may appear small but they're filling. Definitely worth the trip! The place was full when I was there and the wait time was very short.

Had the birthday cake cookie dough and the cookie donut. The cookie dough is good but tastes a bit more like flour then creamy. It's still good but maybe share one as I got a sugar rush/ stomach ache half way through. It's a fun treat to try but not something to have often. The cookie donut was ok. It was drapped in peanut butter, so if your not crazy about peanut butter maybe it's not for you. The cookie on the bottom was good but the donut was a bit dry. There are many other savoury options too. It's just like eating at the CNE.

Macaroni and cheese is my favourite dish in the whole world, so when I had it with fries it was still delicious!! It was empty when I went but everyone was very friendly. I think the portion size is really large for the price too. Very filling and good for sharing!

Taste: 4 Service: N/A Value: 2 Presentation: 5 Overall: 3.7 rounded up to 4 Hi and welcome to another episode of javing it with Javier. Let's see what we are javing today. Today, I will be reviewing the meat monster deep dish pizza and the tacho smash bag. My girlfriend told me this place serves better deep dish than the one in Chicago but that seems pretty hard to beat because I really enjoyed Chicago deep dish. Anyway, let's dive right into the review. We were given the taco smash bag first because the deep dish pizza takes approx 20 min to prepare. Tater tots were sprinkled on top of a layer of cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, with a final layer of Doritos underneath. It was jam packed with flavour while the crunchiness of the Doritos underneath complemented it very well. Although it tasted quite good, the bag wasn't very big and would make a good appetizer as opposed to an entree. Then the deep dish came. The crust was nicely cut and pepperoni on top was slightly crisped. I was a huge fan of the slices being pre-cut into equal sizes unlike some pizza places *cough cough pizza pizza*. As I pulled the first piece out, the strings of cheese stayed attached to the pizza. The crust was very crispy and while I really enjoyed the cheese and pepperoni, I felt like the pulled pork didn't fit well with the pizza. Note that this is a self serve place. So the service rating is as good as how you're willing to serve yourself ;) (my girlfriend said I was an average server so she would have given me a 3, I beg to differ but I may be slightly biased). I have therefore decided that a service rating was N/A. I feel like the smash bag was too small to warrant $8. The pizza on the other hand looks pretty small, but shouldn't be underestimated. The pizza is very filling for its size. For $13 it is slightly overpriced but will be more than enough to fill one person up. Overall I really enjoyed my meal here. Is the deep dish better than Chicago's? No, I can't say that, but it was still very good overall. And that's it for today's episode of javing it with Javier. And remember food is life.

Came in and had the plain Mac and Cheese and was blown away on how delicious it was. I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu, gotta grab a cookie dough scoop before I go though!

Had the Flaming Cheetos mac n cheese spring rolls. Super yummy, filled with jalepenos and served with a side of sriracha mayo. Very filling for two people... especially if you wanna save room for dessert.
