Wings are big with 7 peices and they have lots of flavours to choose from. Thursday nights are awesome because you can play pool for FREE. So many beers on Tap around 10!

Classy place, good food. I came here with my buddies last night and had beers and wings. They had specials for tallboys for $4.88 and a pound of wings for $6.99 also on special. They had live music, pool table with an older crowd.
The wings were good. Servers were friendly. Recommended.
Great Time!. Enjoyed the atmosphere and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The crowd is mostly over 40 and music by James Reagan is a mix of disco, rock, classics and standards. The dance floor is packed and lively by 10 pm great with a date or single, the food is reasonably priced and the service is great. A must try!

LOVE THIS PLACE. I worked at Tapps a few years ago and I must say, I really enjoyed working there. The place has been around since 1985, so the restaurant has a lot of loyal customers from all over Ontario (yes, not just Toronto) that will go the distance to eat here. I am one of those people! I don't even work or live close to the restaurant anymore and I would travel to satisfy a Tapps craving.
My favourites...where do I begin? I always tell my friends that everything on their menu is delicious. I would look forward to my break time to eat something different everyday.
For appetizers, Tapps hands down makes THE best nachos in all of Toronto. They layer them in lots of beef and chilli,veggies and loaded with monterey jack cheese! MMMM! I've had nachos at other sports bars *ahem Jack Astor's* and they tend to be really stingy on the toppings. I always end up being dissapointed and comparing it to Tapp's nachos. I also LOVE the snack plate when I have a craving for ribs but don't feel like eating half or a full rack, you also get mushroom caps, onion rings and veggies with it...great little appetizer sampler.
Depending on your craving, all the sandwiches are really good...okay I am not just saying that!!!! But my favourites are the caesar wrap, Tapps Creation, the Philly Melt, Russian Reuben and their famous clubhouse. I always seems to struggle picking between the 5.
I am not a big burger fan so I've never ordered the burgers from the menu...but one time my husband ordered a banquet burger and I took a small bite, the burger was very flavourful and juicy. He enjoyed it so much that he ordered it again the next time we came by.
Now for my all time favourites, can't decide which one is the best because I love them all... the penne pasta santa fe (I substitute to rose sauce), chicken parmigiana, the Jambalaya (you really have to try this!!!!),the chicken/pork souvlaki,the london curry chicken, the sole almondine, the chicken teriyake and the peppercorn steak. YUM! I'm drooling as I am typing these dishes...hahaha
You should really try everything on their menu. If you're looking for a place that cooks a hearty homemade meal, this is the place to go to! Also, they have the daily chef's specials, five things that are not from the menu that are always guaranteed to satisfy every appetite.
Call this a biased opinion if you want. I've eaten everyhere, whether its casual or fine dining and this by far is my favourite because everything on their menu is deliciousand sure not to dissapoint! You sure are missing out if you haven't eaten at this Scarborough hidden gem.
Great expierience! I went there with some buddies of mine for lunch. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari which was excellent! A friend of mine ordered the steak and told me it was great. I tried their chicken caeser wrap and it was the best wrap i have ever had. Ive reccomended it to all my friends!
Very good. Food was exceptional, service was very promt and friendly, an the atmosphere was excellent!
Great value for your meal, honestly I never had such a wonderful steak and the accompaning vegetables were so fresh and perfectly cooked.
Would highly recommened to anyone without hesitation!

Refinding an old Haunt. I used to go to Tapp's with my friends for drinking and dancing and decent bar food. Its a few years later and my husband and I recently went back to try it out. Overall the food was reasonably priced and it tasted good. The first time he had honey garlic wings and I had chicken fingers and we were surprised how much we liked it. We went back and had the Thursday special of wings and ribs, which came with soup/salad, bun (which was the worst part), choice of potato and veggies. Again we really liked their wings, they are big and plump, they are not breaded which is our preference, and the sauces they use seem different than most places we go to. The ribs were okay, but we'll go back for wings for sure. Also if you like gravy with your fries, they have a nice tasting gravy that isn't watered down. The service was friendly and prompt. The decor of the place could use some updating and they seem to like to play music you would hear on a cruise ship but other than that we enjoyed and will be going back for sure!
