We stopped in for dinner before taking in a movie at the theatre next door. They had a great early-bird special. Select dinner entrees with a salad for $9.99. Great ball for an item on their menus that costs 16.99.
I had the Basa fish dinner it was a great meal.
Mostly love it.. The food there is almost nice. My opinion is the steak was good. The other dishes were good. Especially the Thai dishes! I just loved it. But! The only thing not good there was their mussels. Totally not fresh at all to be served. The smell just disgusted me. But when I asked the waiter, he just replied my question like it is the way it's supposed to be like. But both my friend and I knew that's not true. A day after, we had mussels in a restaurant in Montreal and which were just nice..at least, normal. Still definitely will return, but no more mussels. Lovely place to dine alone or in group. Whats More important.. the Fantastic cheesecake with strawberries on top.
Always my favorite. Who can eat out for 2 less than $50 and have appitizers, drinks, entrees AND dessert?!?
you can...at the PB!
It's a big restaurant, with a big menu, and lots of variety. I ordered a very interesting bunless burger with sundries tomatoes and goat cheese. It was great, or would have been when it was warm. By the time it arrived at the table it was almost cold, unappetizing and actually rather scary when ground beef is involved. My friends had a chicken pesto fettuccine, which was much better. The service was passable, but we had to wait a long time to get our bill.
It's stayed from it's delicatessen roots but isn't bad. Reliable standby if we can't are in the neighbourhood and can't think of anywhere better to eat.
Good. Menu is long and I like selection! I ended up on my fav sandwhich, the reuben. It was pretty good and the service was good. I would defenitely go back when I'm in T.O. again.
Enough to taste but not delicious.. Had their satay appetizers with 3 different sauces- shrimp, chicken & beef on a stick. It was nicely put together with pineapple, cut-up lettuce and crunchy sticks. The signature dishes was enough to taste but not delicious. Cocktails comes with pretty accouterments. The best of all are their cleverly prepared fancy mini deserts. Come in after 6pm you can get good seats, otherwise, suffer in tiny seats next to the loud chattering noise coming from the kitchen.
Menu goes on for ever. Worst problem here is picking something from the menu that is several pages long, lots of choices! Their grilled tuna salad is of particular interest, yummy! Good selection of beers as well.
Something for everyone! Don't poo-poo The Pick. A standard. The meatloaf is a fav. And they deliver.
If you work around here this is great place for after work cheap drinks!!! In the lounge every day from 3pm - 6pm they offer $4.50 wine, $5 martinis, $3.25 bar rail and cheap dinner meals for $9.99 (two course) very good deal. Try the fish tacos! :)
