Reasonable volumie Chinese cuisine restaurant. So many kinds of dumpling include steam, boil and pan fried. There is no Syou-Ron-Pou. I just hope its a perfect hygiene place.
Tens, tens, tens across the board. If you ever want to know what time most restaurants close in downtown Toronto it’s generally that. For that reason we found ourselves in Chinatown, and Dumpling House Restaurant, which is closed Tuesdays but open until 11pm on all other nights. Late Night Dining
I liked the Pork & Chinese Cabbage one slightly more but both were just as delicious. I liked how the steamed dumplings were full of stuffing and yet the dumpling skin was still smooth. Most importantly, the dumpling skin wasn’t too thick or starchy.
Me and a group of guys drive from Peterborough ( hour and a half or so) for dinner and a show. This place is so good that I have found a local restaurant that sells dumplings to fill in until I can come back. Another winning dish is the house noodles. Will be in Toronto on Friday the 18th and will be rocking some food for sure !! Thanks dumpling house, you the bees knees
Best dumplings in Toronto. Highly recommend their pan fried dumplings and singapore noodles.Only downside is they are cash only, but it's worth it.
Great little dumpling house near on Spadina and Dundas. Delicious steamed dumplings for very affordable prices. Decor was good and service was curt but fast as one would want for such a busy establishment. Would definitely go again!
A classic Chinatown place, located right in the center is a good option to have some dumplings. The service is fast and food is nice. Con's : don't sell alcoholic beverages.
Very satisfied with our lunch here. We ordered the pork/fennel steamed dumplings and the pork/shrimp pan-fried dumplings, both were very good and the filling had lots of flavor. Also got the kung-pao chicken, would could have used more heat but otherwise good, and the cucumber salad which was much larger than we expected and tasted fresh.
Service was also better than expected, the owner was walking around and making sure everyone was all set.
Great value and great food. Will return!
This is small restaurant in heart of Chinatown and serves amazing dumplings. I am sure we all have tried steamed ones but fried ones are amazing here. Owner and staff of this place are very friendly and helps everyone in ordering food. It's pocket friendly and everything over here tastes really authentic. Place gets crowded in the evenings and when ever I go there is always queue.

The dumpling festivities continue but this time in Toronto. We were beside Dumpling House after our foot massage so it would have been irresponsible not to stop in for a few bites.
Love how you can see the dumplings being made fresh from outside the window. There’s three of them working like little bees non-stop.
While we waited for a table inside, we got to watch the open kitchen do their thing. It’s small, cramped but they make it work. The wait was only about 10 minutes.
- Green onion pancake (#50) ($4.99) - simple but delicious. Sometimes simple and fresh is best although the pancake was pretty greasy.
- Wonton soup (#87) ($5.99) - broth was excellent and the wontons were even better. Small but packed full of flavour.
- Lamb meat dumplings (#8) ($8.59) - you get 15 steamed dumplings. Lamb dumplings are my favourite and these were absolutely money. The filling tasted gamey, just the way I like ’em. None of this subdued lamb flavour garbage.
- Fried pork & chive dumplings (#17) ($7.99) - 12 pan fried dumplings. We went with the standard pork and chive dumplings which hit the spot.
Everything at the Dumpling House was freshly made, fast, tasty and cheap. Not sure what else you’d want but we were satisfied.
The dumplings are as delicious as everyone says! I tried the shrimp and pork dumpling and totally loved it. The service was decent. However, Summer is knocking and the restaurant can get pretty busy and filled. It’s also a pretty small space with little ventilation so I waited outside with friends. Restroom isn’t too great either. But The food is definitely worth it!
Dumpling house is one of my favourite go to spot for dumplings, they are definitely in first spot for me. You can get them steamed or pan fried. Pan fried is life changing ✨ (I got the pork) but there’s a few other options to chose from too! I also got their house special noodles - which included beef, chicken, and shrimp. Delicious 🤤🍗🍤🥩🍜 ($11.99 each)
Our favourites are the Soup Dumplings, Spicy Boiled Beef and Cumin Lamb. The Spicy Sliced Pork is supposed to have eggplants but I couldn’t fine or taste any. That’s a bit disappointed. But overall, The taste of the food are complex, spicy and tasty! They are famous for their boiled dumplings, had a couple of times and it was good. Our favourite is the Pork, Chive and Shrimp Dumplings🥟
Amazing spot not just for dumplings but noodles as well! Loved the services as well, you can just tell this place is serious about their food. Would highly recommend.
The best dumplings ever, other places don't even compare. Their pan fried dumplings are super fresh, crispy and hot. Also the eggplant dish tasted so good and shanghai noodles are 🔥 Prices are affordable too! I've come here a lot 😊
I stopped by for a quick bite so the family and I only tried a couple of types of dumplings. They were freshly made and the service was fast. Prices were reasonable as well, so I'd be happy to return to try some of their other dishes, and would certainly recommend this place at least for their dumplings.
If you love dumplings, you will like this place. We ordered a mix batch of steamed dumplings and a mix batch of fried dumplings. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I tried noodles and chicken kung pao as well. I felt they were tad bit oily but overall the taste was good.
