We eat there all the time. Great sushi. Always fresh. Their bento box is good too. Their special rolls are fantastic and the quality is always consistent.

Located just around the Promenade Shopping Mall, Ariake Sushi and as been serving up their Japanese Cuisine since 2001! Ariake bring you all the usual Japanese sushi delights. They have rolls of all sorts, including the popular salmon, dragon and their famous 'Dancing' Roll which features Spicy Salmon, Avocado, Cucumber, bits of Tempura and is topped with fish eggs and unagi sauce. In addition to their individual rolls, you can order the Bento Boxes and assorted appetizers. For those looking to share, Ariake has lots of combo dishes, and have party platters that offer plenty of value, and are great for dinning with friends or for hosting a party at home! Also, for a little bit extra, Ariake can make all of their dishes using Brown Rice, which is a little bit healthier than the white variety! I only removed a star its because in total, the food was overpriced.
But was worth the try! I can guarantee Ariake is the best sushi restaurant in this neighborhood.
I love this place! I find myself coming back with people very often. Never even knew it was in this plaza and I’m super grateful to have been introduced to it by a friend. The quality of sushi is fresh and never disappoints.
Unpretentious family-run business with better quality sushi than most in the neighbourhood. Their forte is a consistently great, basic sushi menu which is well prepared and delicious tasting. If your preference is for great variety in the types of sushi or perhaps all-you-can-eat, you might prefer to look elsewhere. I enjoy Ariake Sushi and will keep coming back.

I got Salmon Mountain Roll and it was second to none.
I definitely recommend this place as the staff are really kind and considerate. The sushi was absolutely fresh and the portions were more than enough.

The service was quick and the lady was really kind. I had no issues with my meal. I came for lunch and thought the prices were pretty good and fair.
Tofu teriyaki: loved the tofu! The onions and cabbage underneath were the perfect texture not too salty. The yam sushi was still crunchy from the tempura and the texture of the rice was great!
Chicken teriyaki: I didn’t eat this one but I had some of the sashimi. They were thick pieces and really nice!
One roll per person is enough to get full, even at dinnertime. The rolls are huge with a great rice to filling ratio. And such variety! Big lunch specials. Great miso soup.

I have been going to this place for years and can’t believe I’ve never left a review… to start they have THE. BEST. TEMPURA. The batter is super light and crispy! My favourite roll is the salmon tempura roll and if you dine in you can expect the freshly prepared salmon to still be warm. Same people have O/O since the beginning and they have perfected every aspect of their menu. Whenever I’m in town I stop in for the best sushi around!
