Great place for children and adults. Before the pandemic, this was a place that our family went to often, and it is still amazing.
* The staff are incredibly friendly, and attentive.
* Food is delicious, this place has the best chicken fingers out there! Something adults, and children would love.
* Style of the restaurant is nice. You need to get up and go to the counter to pay for your food.
Best place hands down for smoked meats. Nice local gem. Better than Montreal.
Highly recommend their smoked meat, old fashioned, corned beef sandwiches. Add on a Greek salad and you're good to go!
Unfortunately we were there a couple of days before Passover so the dine in area closed early. We did takeout and we ordered the smoked meat sandwiches and coleslaw. The meat was tender and juicy and the slaw was perfect. The only disappointment was there was no mustard on the bread!! I thought it was a given, mustard on a smoked meat sandwich. Not here apparently. We'll go back and I'll make sure to request the mustard.

Since Katz closed down in Toronto, I haven't been able to find a good Deli Place.... Then I discovered this Gem yesterday. One of the Best Smoked Meat Sandwiches Ever! Definitely going Back Regularly.
I had a very hard long day of testing for a Traumatic Brain Injury and traveled from just outside of Michigan and was beyond exhausted and sick from the testing...and your Corned Beef sandwich literally brightened my spirits. It's not too often that a sandwich can do that!! Your staff was kind, so friendly, and the restaurant was clean, tidy, and beyond my expectations. Thank you so very much. Sincerely.
We have been eating at Centre Street Deli for over 30 years. If you are looking for real Montreal smoked meat, this is the place to go. Of course they have many other deli offerings that you will find in Montreal or New York City. (and even though ownership changed, everything else stayed the same including the staff.)
