One of the best JP style crepe I have tried, including in japan.
Mazazu Crepe is one of the vendors at the Aberdeen Food Court.
In our opinion, the green tea parfait gets a bit too much: it is good but the brownie and red bean makes it too rich for us to finish it all.

Everytime I come back to vancouver, I would always get a crepe from here. I love the different texture that you get from this crepe from the creaminess of the icecream to the chewiness of the mochi. It was super super good and I recommend trying out the strawberry cheesecake crepe too if you come and try out this place!! :)
A quick review on Instagram of Mazazu Crepe posts shows that their soft-serve items are very popular. Most notably was their soft-serve parfaits which had a mouthwatering presentation. I ordered the matcha and strawberry parfaits ($6.50 each) to try.
Aberdeen centre’s food court snakes around and allows over 20 different stands to have their own dedicated space. Lots of effort was put into decorating each stall. Each had its name in bold, a menu with photos, and some even a display of items served utilizing accurately portrayed plastic food. Not surprisingly, most of the writing used was Chinese characters, but the coloured photos and the glossy fake food helped to bridge the language gap. I will be covering all 20 of the foodcourt dining options across several posts.

September 22, 2015 · by ThatShanghaiGirl · I always stop by here to get crepes whenever I'm in Aberdeen, but this visit I had an extremely disappointing experience.....
I haven't tried the crepes here, but the mixed matcha and milk soft serve was quite tasty. The texture of the soft serve was quite nice and smooth, but as a fan of authentic matcha flavour, I thought the matcha portion could have been a little stronger in presentation. Overall, a nice treat to end with after having some yummy food in the Aberdeen food court.
I didn't order the crepes but I ordered the matcha/milk soft serve twist and loved it! So pretty to look at & tasty as well! This place is cash only!!
Ice cream crepe bliss. My girlfriend and I are recurrent customers; we go there and get fat together. Best crepes I've had, so far.
The plastic display caught me. Is there any culture in the world that makes plastic models of food better than the Japanese? From what I've seen at the front of restaurants all over the place, it's an art form with them, not just commercialism. The colours and shapes of the simulated crepes in the plastic display case of this Mazazu caught my eye when I was scoping out the Aberdeen mall food court. All those gaudy triangles made me think of dessert pizza.
Mazazu's crepes are more like mutant, crust-driven ice cream cones than dessert pizza, though. The chocolate-banana-almond one I had was tasty enough to please a first-timer like me. It was heavy on the bananas, lots of whipped cream, decent amount of chocolate syrup, not many almond flakes, though. Mazazu makes them well, encased in their easy-to-slip-off paper holder. No drips for Bukko! Perhaps if I had ordered one with ice cream it would have been worse, but I had just drunk a slushee, so I didn't want to overdo the frosty calories.
I read the other reviews, and all I can say is that the two girls behind the counter made my crepe fresh, the flavour/heat of it was OK, and it took less than 10 minutes to get it to me. It was a slow time for Mazazu, about 5 p.m. on a Saturday, and I was the only one there ordering, so I caught them at a good time for customer service.
Mazazu has always been my go-to crepe store. I had really enjoyed their freshly made crepes and their friendly service. They used to have a full Japanese staff but I can see they only have 1-2 now. I'm quite disappointed that the staffing has changed and lessen throughout the years but their crepes are still good. I waited 10 minutes for my crepe, the Sausage and Tuna and there was only 1 person working. I must say that it was a lot more efficient back when they had more staff working.
I just tried the ice cream and it’s a really good one ice cream.
Delicious matcha soft serve in a cup! Good matcha, strong but not bitter. Also serves both sweet and savoury crepes
Nice staffs and ice cream was delicious
