An old favourite, an old-school Richmond staple & still a goodie! Dinner AYCE is where it's at (nice selection) and lunch AYCE is your best bet for overall value. Personal favourite items: seafood/oyster motoyaki, chicken teriyaki, sushi cones & shrimp tempura. Service is decent for an AYCE spot & you get nice views if you can snag a table by a window. Owned by the same people who run Tomokazu so shouts out to them too.
This is more a rating for delivery through Skip the Dishes so I'm not aware of the service. However, the food is awesome. I'm a vegetarian and I always order the avocado rolls and the agedashi tofu. The avocado rolls are always fresh and have a perfect amount of avocado in them. A lot of places like to just put a bit of avocado and a bunch of rice around it, which makes it horrible, this please doesn't and it's perfect every time. The Tofu is perfectly deep fried and the sauce it comes with is delicious. I highly recommend this please for a vegetarian who loves sushi.
Again though, this is just a review through delivery.
The temptation roll, torched salmon ,and chef's special sushi are great!! There are new items added in the menu: saba sashimi , takoyaki , chef's special sushi etc
Food is good with varieties and service is good too. Went there last Saturday dinner time and it's so busy that I have to wait for 30 minutes but food and everything worth the wait. Luckily food came fast coz I was starved after the wait you know you just get starved when you see people eating while you can only wait. Will definitely go there again and try the oysters. Probably the only place that has oysters on the AYCE menu.
My boyfriend and I love this place. We've gone for AYCE here many times. The place is quite big and pretty well kept even if it's busy at times. The food is delicious. Sometimes the quality isn't consistent but when we went yesterday, we were pleased! We only paid around $12 each for AYCE lunch. It's a good value for the amount of food you can get! The service isn't bad either. I'll definitely be back when I feel like eating lots!
Fairly good and affordable Japanese AYCE. No extraordinary dish but good selection and quality. It satisfies the AYCE sushi crave. Came on Tuesday for lunch, there was no wait. But it gets super busy for dinner and on the weekends.
• oooohhhh my parking here is terrible!!!
Please carpool if you can, even if you arrive early it is busy around here. Be prepared to wait for queue. DO NOT park at nearby malls (Aberdeen & Parker place) as you'll get towed.
• place is located on the 2nd floor. Area is satisfactory, can do more maintenance & cleaning
• the usual all you can eat menu, add $ for sashimi (and its limited)
• service isn't bad but not great
Great AYCE sushi. This has to be one of the best AYCE sushi restaurants in Richmond. Everything we had was great, the food came out quickly, and the service was very good. I'll definitely be back again soon.
Pretty Solid AYCE. I don't think there's a lot of good AYCE in Vancouver area, especially ones that offer you solid food and service. Ninkazu is definitely one of the better one. Although their food choices is not as good as Ebei, but their selection is still good compare to Kingsway sushi or Richmond Sushi. Their grilled wings and sushi are pretty good. You know this is a good restaurant when there's always people lining up, especially the late night hours.
Service wise, I saw a comment quoting "silent hill" LOL. They offer decent service if you ask for something such as pickle ginger or refilling tea. If you want the really good and attentive service, then AYCE in general won't be the place that you should go.
Verdict:
Food: 8/10 (food is freshly made, you can tell)
Service: 7/10 (They bring in the food in a timely manner, despite they are so busy)
Price: 8/10 (much more reasonable pricing than Richmond Sushi, and they offer deluxe or lite dinner, which give options for ppl who don't eat sashimi)
Overall: 23/30 (They have been one of the better AYCE in Richmond, and their popularity reflects this)
