Stopped in by chance one day and was blown away by the friendliness of the owners and the staff. Then the food came and it was all homemade and the burger I had was in my top five. Being as I'm an entertainer and travel for a living that means it is off the cuff!!!! Big and fresh and juicy and not greasy at all. I have been back many times and it is always bang on. The atmosphere, food and service are great and I highly recommend this to anyone who just wants good, fresh home cooked style food at a good price. Try it you'll like it!!!! Randy Friskie
Great food, great prices. Been there a couple times now, perfect if you work nearby, and quite frankly, worth going even if you don't. The sandwiches are great (pulled pork is my personal favourite) and the price is a steal. I mean literally a steal. Also, friend who used their catering once mentioned it was perfect for work lunches, so thumbs up all around.
Very nice simple place with great food and all specialty coffees. Menu is simple and always fresh plus you get a different daily special everyday from all over the world. Indian, Thai, Persian, Italian, Cajun, Mexican and much more. Can't get that anywhere else in Vancouver. The owner also mentioned how they make everything in house such as the roast beef and all the soups and specials. Just heard they will be introducing full persian menu soon. Can't wait!
They did a renovation of this place and offer great coffee choices. Also the food is tasty and authentic. The owners make you feel warm and welcomed.
Pulled Pork!. Suggested by a friend who works nearby, I decided to try the special of the day. Never thought I'd be having a good pulled pork sandwich in Richmond- maybe very slightly on the dry side, but for the price and location it's great. Clam Chowder wasn't bad either (came together). Basically you get a nice, hearty lunch for about $8. Will be coming back soon!
I love their Sandwiches. This place is kind of in the middle no where. Unless you worked near it, one would never passed by. Anyway, I found this place out of the blue when I was driving in that area. Decided to order a sandwich and BAM I kept going back. For 7 dollar, you get a full size sandwich and a soup or salad. That is a way better deal than that subway crap. The sandwich is stuff with meat and veggies and its such a big sandwich I can only eat half (and save the other half for a mid afternoon snack). Not to to mention, it is freshly made! I would definitely recommend this place to those who are in that area!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Went here for take out today on the recommendation of a friend. It's a bit out of the way, but it was definitely worth the trek. By far the best Persian food I've ever had. The kabobs were so flavourful, and the split pea stew was divine. Support small businesses and eat here! You will not be disappointed.

Zia and his staff does an amazing job keeping their guests satisfied. They know almost everyone's names and greets you right when you enter the cafe. The food is a blend of Western, Mediterranean, German, and many other dishes. Zia loves to experiment with cooking so he always has different things on the menu. he also insists if you want anything extra on your meal ( onions, more spice, etc) that you ask for it, and he will be glad to make it to your liking.
The fries are amazing!! Sadly, it's only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have to seek it somewhere else when I get salty snacks cravings.
Kris, the phenomenal and sweet barista, makes my coffee so perfect, that I only order it whenever she's around.

One of the cons would be at times the menu items are a tad expensive. Like the poutine is $7+tax! Although it's a large size, you're better off ordering the burger and fries for $10+tax(only if it's on special that day)

The owners were very kind. The place was cozy and comfortable. The food was sooo good. I had the burger, so juicy and all condiments and relish gave just the right combination of flavor.
A friend recommended for a long time. Finally realized the trip. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.
My buddy raves about this place as he once worked in the area. I was told to go on Thursday to try the best burger in town and man' did it not disappoint! The burger was cooked to perfection: juicy, fresh and surprisingly grilled! The fries were awesome too! Safe to say I'm going back next Thursday.
Visted Zia's for the 1st time today.

The food is so delicious. Meats are tender and juicy. The chicken curry was pretty good. Fries were surprisingly tasty. Overall we were extremely satisfied. Some foods are pricey though.
Zia's is great!
Their burgers and fries are actually just so so great (it's usually their special on Monday's heads up). The chicken club is also really good, and their soup is always very tasty.
The prices are extremely fair as well!
Really thought I would be compromising when eating lunch close to work, but I was wrong
