The Best Hot Pot place in Richmond, customer service was quick and very friendly, food was top notch quality like holy Angelina Jolie! This is my go to place from now on!
I been to many different hot pot places in town. This is one of my favorite. Prices and quality of food are good. I strongly recommend this place to other.
MaThai had a Groupon deal available for a shared hotpot for 2. MaThai is located along Alexandra Road in Richmond so it will get quite busy if you are driving in. We opted to do some shopping at Lansdowne mall first, then we left our car there and walked to MaThai. It was a nice day so the walk was nice, it was only a 5 minute walk.
I have been through my fair share of ayce hotpot places but this one has held my heart for quite some time now. Great quality foods for an ayce, it is definitely worth your buck. The beef is mouth-watering and veggies are always fresh.
All you can eat hotpot here and on their menu they also have all you can drink plum juice. I recommend the Thai broth, it is very nicely done. I like how they also have cooked items as well to order on their sheet. Service staff is small and they really do hussle. Remember to tip your server well cause they are working hard... We had a young chinese girl with glasses serve us and she was amazing. They have a lunch menu too and I will come back to try that one for sure. The pictures look great!
Had dinner here tonight! Service was great! Really enjoyed our server! She was attentive and had a smile each time she came around.
Though our first order of food took a while to come out, in the end it was worth the wait!
We had the spicy chicken and herb soup base which had a good flavour! The oysters were fresh unlike the ones we previously had elsewhere! All our dishes were quite fresh! We had 2 orders of their deep fried chicken wings from the "cooked foods" and they were delicious! Perfectly seasoned and fried!
We also ordered 4 plum juices which tasted perfect! And 2 beers.
There were 5 of us. 2 kids and 3 adults, our bill came to about $125 which was not bad at all. We will definitely be back! :)

這間位於列治文著名食街的「泰麻鮮火鍋」2014年才開業，取代了之前牛仔火鍋的位置。室內裝潢重新翻新，感覺乾淨明亮，空間還算舒服。作為火鍋店地方稍為細小，最多只能容納40人左右。跟大部分的火鍋店一樣，這裡也提供火鍋任食，成人的價錢為$20.95/人，火鍋湯底另計。火鍋湯底有14種之多，從最便宜的$7.5元～$11元不等，更有$16元的特式湯底。火鍋菜單的選擇基本上跟其他火鍋店差不多，不過此店提供了很多熟食的選擇，例如各式烤肉串，甚至還有川辣鴨脖，泰式鳳爪，炸小饅頭等都可以吃到呢！但我今天沒有打算火鍋任食，而改為店家的特色冬陰功海鮮火鍋套餐

GOOD FOOD SELECTION. A new restaurant situated where Cattle Hot Pot used to be. Their AYCE hotpot selection is great!! Tons of food to choose from. Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends as that whole road is filled with popular restaurants.
Very good hotpot restaurant. MaThai Hotpot just open three months ago, the meat is very fresh, it is all you can eat hotpot, also all you can eat skewer, the place is clean. This is my first time there, I will highly recommend.
Fresh seafood and awesome service. I went here with my family looking for late night snack, and found this new hot pot place. I was suspicious in the beginning, but the food turned out to be pretty good. Love it!
Everything was great! The soup was great, food was fresh and also they have cooked food like deep fried chicken wings that are part of the AYCE too! All their deep fried skewers are perfectly made with great flavour. I would honestly go there just for their skewers!
My personal favourite hotpot restaurant in Richmond - formerly Chubby Lamb Hotpot a few units down, but they shutdown.
MaThai is great for the variety of ingredients they carry, really tasty broths, and cooked food options - particularly the SKEWERS! Skewers are grossly overpriced everywhere you go, so to have them included in AYCE is the greatest thing ever.
This place should be packed more often, but I guess they haven't invested much in marketing, so let it remain a hidden gem!
My favourite AYCE hot pot place because the food is always fresh/good quality, price is right, tons of different drinks, great service, and they NEVER skimp on meat like most other AYCE hot pot places do. I come here every weekend. I'm here right now! Haha
Food was pretty decent for the price. $130 for 4 people all-you-can-eat. They did forget to place one of our orders but other than that, service was friendly and seating comfortable.
A good AYCE hotpot. However, they don't feature oyster on the menu. They make it up with skewers.
The food was fresh, service was good. Better than the previous owner of this location. Will be back!
