The restaurant has excellent food and services. My favorite is the deep fried fish and tofu pudding. I would recommend for anyone who's looking for a good time with family or friends.

Nice spot for dim sum. A very nice room with high ceilings and chandeliers and confusingly 3 large screen televisions. Never the less, we enjoyed a variety of standard dim sum dishes. The shiu mai was very good with large pieces of shrimp in the mix and the pleasant pop of roe on top. The fried scallop with Portuguese sauce has to be my favorite though in its crispy nest. My partner who is a fan of chickens feet feels like they were better on a previous visit although I found them to be tasty and tender and thus less challenging to eat than they seem at some places. We enjoyed the beef roll also which had a subtle taste of 5 spice and benefited from the green onion and cucumber in the mix. Sharp dressed wait staff were friendly enough and quick to top up our tea and even brought us fresh plates at one point. I thought $42 for 3 people including tax and tip was a pretty good deal. We are trying to work our way through a list of top ten dim sum places in Richmond and this is our favorite so far.
Shiang Seafood Restaurant caught my attention when I noticed them being a popular location for Chinese wedding banquets in Metro Vancouver. On Zomato, most people seemed to have positive reviews for them as well. When I saw their dim sum deal for 4 on Axka recently, I decided to take advantage of it.
Overall and over all the many dishes, I was fairly impressed by the variety and different styles of preparation for all the different meats. Shiang Garden has a fairly deep menu of dishes all available to be ordered right off the menu at your table.

眾所周知溫哥華的烈治文市是華人聚集移居的地方，以前有小香港之稱，因為早年在此經營的都以粵菜酒樓餐館居多，其後台灣人、大陸人的大量加入，各式各樣的中式餐廳紛紛成立，現在已不能光稱小香港了，應該改稱為"新中國城"。
列治文市的敘香園就是一家由台灣人經營的粵菜酒樓，老闆夏照林從事餐飲業逾30年，是台灣錦華餐飲集團的創始人，現擁台灣的錦華樓、星月樓，以及溫哥華敘香園三家店。由於1997年加拿大有一波香港移民潮，因此他決定以溫哥華作為他海外創業據點而購入原來是一家超市賣場的現址，全面整修裝潢後於2000年正式開業，以供應港式料理和傳統飲茶點心為主。經營超過17年的敘香園最近將原有三層自置物業的一樓出租，改裝為“德莊重慶火鍋”，並由女兒夏佳宜的同學經營。
The noms are real. We started off with a Prawn Salad which consisted of half a juicy ripe papaya topped with huge prawns, melon and Japanese mayo. I absolutely adore prawns that have a good snap when you bite into it, and this was the case. I'd come back just for this appetizer alone.

Shiang Garden has been around for quite some time, and their decor is quite fancy with chandeliers hanging off the ceiling. The Whole Chicken in Abalone Sauce was presented like a piece of art! Looked like a peacock, and it was literally the whole chicken! The chicken was very moist and tender. The abalone sauce paired well with the chicken to give it more flavour.
After going through what was easi;y the most convoluted restuarant entrance I've ever seen, (on the 3rd floor of a parkade and after walking through excess chairs, tables and napkins) I finally got inside to what is actually a nice interior. I was expecting it to be much dumpier so points there.
The food here is solid, standard dimsum. I couldn't find anything to rave or really complain about. What I did have seemed to satisfy my Dim Sum craving.
One note on the service, I shouldn't have to ask 5 times to get the bill, especially when you have a line up waiting for tables. This is just basic and being quick iwth the debit card machine makes the whole experience better for all concerned.

Shiang Garden Seafood Restaurant is an authentic Chinese restaurant featuring Cantonese dim sum and live seafood. They are located on No. 3 Road close to Parker Place. This is a popular location for weddings as they can seat a large amount of people, plus the layout is ideal for a large banquet wedding.
I was pretty impressed by their dinner. Lots of items on their menu and their specialty dishes were pretty good. I would definitely be back.
I think my favourite items were Diced Beef Tenderloin in Honey & Pepper, Specialty Layer Pork, Whole Chicken in Abalone Sauce, and their Sauteed Mixed Seafood.
It's the typical Chinese dinner banquet food. I came here for a friend's company dinner and the level of service and food they provided for the event was good.
I still prefer Shiang Gardens for good standard dimsum as the food ingredients like the shrimp are sweet and plump that is used in the various dimsum dishes. Service was way better than the standard poor service generally provided to non chinese in other restaurants. I was the only non chinese in the restaurant.
Food was very good and service was excellent! Loved the fish with noodles and crab was yummy!
The server straightaway knew that this was my first visit to Shiang Garden when I ordered 3 steamer trays of har kow for the 3 of us. It turned out that their har kow is BIG - 3 shrimps inside each of them!
Nice venue for parties and celebrations. Great service and media setup too.
