Wow, such an amazing experience! I have never had so delicious Mexican food and totally enjoyed the serving experience there. If you are looking for fabulous food and super delicious desert this is the right place. I also loved Carol's genuine and warm personality. Living in New Westminster will not stop me to be a regular ☺️
Carol and her staff are so kind and welcoming. There is such a community feel to this restaurant. The Margaritas are made from scratch and taste amazing. The menu is extensive, so it's fun to try something new each time. Everything tastes fresh and delicious.

Little Mexico Cantina Review
I go to this place three time only, I enjoy hot spicy food. I have met and talked to the manager and owners when I was there. I like the friendly staff and I know the owner is Mexican. I made a small mistake when I order the food. The mistake I made was to ask the chef to make it hot. I found out when I ate the food that was too hot and too spicy to my taste. If 1 was super mild and 10 was super hot and super spicy. The food I ate was a 10. I had no idea that the chef who make it a 10 out of 10 for being super hot and super spicy. I was able to eat it, because I can eat super spicy foods. I might to enjoy the taste of it, but I have no problem eat super spicy food. I like the spicy grilled chicken that I ordered was good with too much super hot and super spicy sauce on it. Some Asian restaurants are just as super spicy as this restaurant’s foods. The place is very clean and the food is freshly cooked. The prices are not very expensive. The food takes a little longer than other places, but taste great. If you are in a rush go to another restaurant and be careful if you order hot.
This is a restaurant that only sit no more than 15 people. I talk to the family who owned it, they do not like large parties. It is a small place and it is not permitted for a large party. It is better to take out for large parties. That all for now.

I was really excited when I saw a Mexican restaurant while walking through Steveston, and dragged my friend along with me. But our overall experience was kind of average ('meh' sums it up). The margaritas were great, but the taquitos that we'd ordered along with them, were not as much: we got a mixed plate of two beef and two chicken to share. We both enjoyed the beef ones, but the chicken ones on the other hand, were boring - not much flavor or taste, it was like rubber inside a crispy oily shell.
I could go again for the margaritas though. It's strange, because the place looked to be quite popular. We'd gone around 5 PM on a weekend, and we had to sit at the bar - there just weren't any tables, even for two people.
Really authentic Mexican food! There was an amazing selection of tacos and enchiladas. Great atmosphere for friends and families and I received great service from waitresses.
My daughter, grandson and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. The service, tacos (a great menu selection) and evening were all very nice. We'll be back.
Finally great Mexican in Richmond. Had dinner there with a group of friends and it was great. I love Las Margaritas on W4th and Little Mexico runs neck in neck with them. Their chef is from Mexico and it shows. More reasonably priced then Las Margaritas and the margaritas are just as good (maybe better). Will return often! Best of luck in the new year.
Loved the new Little Mexico !. The new owner of the restaurant is very talented, and adds some soul & warmth to the place. We've been coming here for years and it's never tasted better! New menu changes and atmosphere have turned this place around! Food tastes good quality and has very good flavour as well. Service was great and I will definitely be coming back!
A wonderful place for tasty Mexican food. I went there for dinner last night with a few of my friends and really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. The food was very tasty and the staff very friendly. I had my favourite dish, Chicken Fajita and it was really good. The new management looks to be doing all the right things as the place was humming. The I love the outdoor patio - looks like a great place to have a few bulldogs...

Frequent patron - never had a bad experience. Get the cornbread.. Funny enough I came here to do a positive review on the restaurant, only to find three reviews from May. What's funnier is I remember that night cause I was there eating as well with a couple friends. I was sitting right behind their table - I'm sure she remembers me cause even I said something to her party before Ieft (someone had to). Some lady had a birthday party or something and she did nothing but bitch the entire time and her minions followed suit. Actually, to be fair, they were fine until they had too many margaritas.They also walked out on part of their bill and the owner simply told them to not come back. They harassed the poor girls on staff (who really did try to help but when you have an attitude like that it really makes it hard to please such a person), complained all night, and when the staff tried to offer them alternatives, they refused and acted out even more. It was such a gong show. And I highly doubt they had to wait long, because they came in the late evening and the restaurant had open tables available. I got a table, no problem.
I saw the same lady again at a local salon (i think she owns it, cause she sure acted like it). Went in, and turned around. Her attitude was the same and not welcoming. Just confirmed that yes, not everyone can be pleased and some like to complain for the sake of complaining. I think she was one those people. And now, to make herself feel better, she got her little army of mini-b's to write similar reviews. But opinions are like a-holes... everyone has them. Fair play to them.
But an example and reminder that a good attitude gives good results. A bad attitude gives bad results.
Personally I love the food, service, and atmosphere. Never had a bad expereince and always left on a full tummy. I got there often after work (I work in Steveston). GET THE CORNBREAD!!
Best Chili Reuno! What a wonderful surprise to finally find a delicious chili reuno, as I'm used to crossing the border before we find traditional Mexican. We started with nacho's (which by the size of our meals we should have skipped, but they were delish!) I had the combo plate and the other had the daily special. Both meals were fantastic - we'll definetly return to see what other specials the chef has in store!
Family run, and it shows (good thing).. Came here with friends, and the wife(of a husband-and-wife team) welcomed us at the door. Decor fits the name of the place, but you come for the food. Their "wet burrito" is good and filling, and the fish tacos were nice. The churros were a bit too sweet by themselves (lots of cinnamon and sugar) but with the chocolate dip and the ice cream, it balances out nicely. The service was pleasant, and the wife was more than happy to engage us in conversation. They're a nice couple, and they run a nice place. I'll be sure to be hungry when I return.
I've heard really good things about this restaurant and there always seems to be a line up, so I was glad I finally had a chance to try them. I was very happy with the service and the food. All our dishes were delicious and arrived quite quickly. The only downside was that I didn't realize this was a pub. We were hoping for a quiet dinner, but it just so happened that we were there during a football game and being a small place. it was really hard to have a conversation with the noise. The portions were also pretty small
Good tasting basic tacos. Hearty and meaty. Not much else to say. My garlic cheese bread was packed together tightly such that it was kinda like a bread and cheese ball stuck together, but it tasted fine. Pretty standard authentic tacos with real ingredients.
Great vibe and selection of food. The complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were really fresh. The bartender provided top notch customer service and I went with all his food and drink reccos which all hit the spot. Really enjoyed the trio tacos and mocktail. Perfect relaxing lunch!
This little spot is like an escape into Mexican cuisine, the atmosphere inside is quite lovely and staff were very friendly. The food was flavourful and you can't go wrong with any selection of the tacos, definitely recommend the Birria! The only thing to be mindful of was the Lime Margaritas go down too quickly....haha. Plan to Uber if you enjoy a good Margarita cause you might end up drinking more than planned.

We had the pleasure of having this restaurant cater our volleyball team at the hotel! The food was spectacular and very authentic! The parents loved everything and the kids went back for seconds!! The manager was top notch and help us easily decide what to order. The prices were very reasonable and the kids were fed a healthy meal before the next day! We had a few margaritas at the bar when we came to pick up the food and they were so good we came back for another drink the next day! Best margaritas I have ever had!!
