Excellent food and service. Limited parking spaces so get there early. Exceptional service and friendly staff. Last visit I had, I went when the restaurant just opened for business (1130am) so it took a good hour to wait for the food. However the waiter did mentioned about the wait which I didn't mind. My visit (1230pm) yesterday was a merely 10 min wait.

Our favorite restaurant in Ottawa! Completely disagree with the comments about the service. In our experience it is the Best service in town - my family eats here twice a month and we love the staff they are very kind and helpful even when it's crazy busy. In fact they make so much effort for us and our kids that we really enjoy the experience every time. The food is always exceptional and so is their service. My favorite dish is Jayuk Bokum! I've had it at many restaurants but it is the best at Alirang by far! Their dumplings are sooooo good and everything is really hot and perfectly prepared every time. Love it so much! Thank you!

I don’t know about all the complains about service, because I’ve been going here at least once a year (for my bday + plus other occasions if I’m dt) for 5/6 years and the waiters have always been super nice, helpful with recommendations and don’t mind given us more side dishes (given you don’t ask too many times since Korean tradition is ONE set of side dishes per main dish). Food is amazing, hands down the best Korean restaurant in Ottawa.
