This place is an awesome gem in downtown New West (and up a steep road)! It's worth the climb. The cozy establishment seems to be a popular takeout place. We were the only ones dining in. Sushi is made to order and came within reasonable time. I was amazed by the amount or sushi in one order. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to finish but I surprised myself because they don't make their rolls huge by adding a thick layer of rice like many other sushi places. Their green tea was legit and their sashimi was fresh. Really nice staff too.

SanFans Delight

A couple of my friends and I were craving for some sushi so we checked out this relatively new Sushi place on 6th Street in New West. We got there on Friday just a few minutes past noon and the restaurant was rather quiet since they usually open at 11:30am. We were seated in a cozy corner giving us a good overview of the restaurant.

The best part of my meal was actually the Korean Fried Chicken with garlic soy ($8.90). These boneless chicken pieces had a nice crisp exterior which encased juicy pieces of chicken. It’s served with a side of crunchy pickled radish as well. I wonder if their chicken karaage is the made the same way?
