Lasting Impressions was so entertaining! The first half is interesting history about different artists. Paintings were projected on the main screen in front and on the sides. The second half was with 3rd glasses. The main screen was in 3rd. The sides were regular display. If you haven’t bought tickets yet, do not buy in the first row. Go further back in the middle or maybe the balcony. Espace St Denis is a really nice theatre. Nice service. Very clean bathrooms. We parked right in front.

Lasting Impressions was fantastic, I recommend not sitting in the front row like we did (table 121) if you don't want a sore neck, I had to look up the whole time but it was manageable, the main screen that projects the 3D effect is amazing, it's very big, so again I recommend sitting further back, as the numbers on the tables increase, you are further away from the main screen. There are also projections to the right and left of the stage, those are not 3D, they provide a nice visual aid and effect of the artists work. The first 30 minutes are introductions of the artists and their biography, then break for 15 min where you can order off the menu, they have bar as well. The last 50 min is the amazing 3D experience, really breath taking. The sound track gave me goose bumps, they even had original score for the Van Gogh pieces. My 13 yr old was the youngest one there, I do not recommend for kids, she started tuning out and fidgeting at one point. Everyone is very quiet and concentrated so do not bring young ones there. I recommend arriving 20 min earlier to get settled and buy snacks / drinks.

I recently attended a conference at this venue and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The people running the event were incredibly helpful and nice, making me feel welcomed and at ease. The conference itself was well organized and informative, with engaging speakers and interesting topics. The venue itself was also well-suited for the event, with comfortable seating and good acoustics. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this venue for future events.

Great venue for many kinds of shows, concerts, etc. Great evening attending multivisual experience of The Impressionists painters. Great settings where you sit at tables to attend, bar service with a small menu (there's an adjacent full restaurant under the same ownership). Clean restrooms, friendly service. Paid parking on the street or at nearby parking lots. Easily accessible at walking distance from metro Berri-Uquam station (2 min.)

I was impressed with the theater. I was in the smaller one, which felt like a caberet. Very clean, but a little tight for me who gets crowd anxiety. They have wait staff that offers drink. It was my first time and I don't speak French, so no drinks for me.

Only con is that the chairs are a bit too close to each other. Other than that, an awesome place to watch concerts and spectacles!

Follow me on Instagram 👉 chipYie Bigger than l’Olympia, I was their once to see Rachid Badouri’s One Man Show and loved the place, even if your seat is a little far from the scene they have screens showing the face of the artist so you will not miss anything😉

Lasting Impressions has an amazing impact on your senses, sight and sound. The colors are vivid and the sound at the right volume and pitch so you’re fully immersed in La Belle Epoque and the Impressionalist period. We sat at Table 301, slightly back, I think the best seats in the house. Pick the second row of the 200’s, or the first row of the 300’s for best viewing. Second row 300’s was good too. The main screen that projects the 3D effect is amazing; it's very big, and you feel ‘right in the scene‘. Sights and sound just wrap around you, The projections to the right and left of the stage, help create the immersive effect of putting you ‘in the picture’. The sound track was spot on, and flowed effortlessly - keep the mini program, you’ll be asking about the songs later. 🙂 The audience was quite still and focused throughout. You’ll see, especially in the second part with full 3D, no one was even touching their wine glass, all eyes and ears were glued to the show. Highly recommend, and the venue at Theatre St-Denis was perfect, to be held in this smaller, more intimate venue. Staff are very helpful and polite. Highly Recommend this show, and kudos to Theatre St-Denis! And take in a later show.. lots of eateries and pubs on St Denis for the ‘after-show’!
