Order the Le Mr. Krabs (on the secret drink menu)! As the name suggests, Le Polisson has a mischievous atmosphere - decor and staff. The food was good although not the night’s highlight, it was our waiter Charles. He was very attentive, but he was also a real imp! He made us a fantastic specialty drink since they did not have the ingredients for the Bikini Bottom cocktail. The night was a real pleasure, definitely visiting again when I’m in town.
Enjoyed my dinner at Resto Le Polisson! Kind and helpful wait staff and the food/drinks were enjoyable as well.
The nice weather allowed us to enjoy our dinner in the back patio, which had a nice look and feel.
Long awaited date night with hubby. Honestly, the service was amazing. The host made us feel welcomed and took the time to help us pick out a wine for the evening. It was refreshing to talk to someone that really loves his job. He was an excellent sommelier. We decided to go with the menu for MTL à la table. We had the chance to sit inside for our meal and enjoy our dessert on the terrace.

Fabulous little place! Not only is the food delicious but the service is top notch. Charles, our server, was an absolute delight. We actually visited Montreal in December 2021 and he made such a good impression that we came back in May 2022 just to visit Le Polisson. We were happy to see the new additions to the menu, enjoy the patio at the back of the restaurant, and received 11/10 service from Charles!
Excellent restaurant that we stumbled upon. Smoking prawns, lobster dinners and chocolate cake were all very good. One of the best meals I’ve had in Montreal and better than most for pricing! And groovy team running the place. Bravo!
Absolutely fantastic experience. Food was amazing. Staff goes above and beyond. Our incredibly generous chef even bought our kids ice cream and treats when he happened upon us afterwards at the shop next door. I was stunned. Best grilled cheese ever. Risotto was perfect.
Chef Mark made it a point to welcome us, talk to us about the menu and provide recommendations. Chef’s kindness and attentiveness was on a level I haven’t experienced in a long time while dining and made this restaurant stand out above all others we have visited in Montreal. Really looking forward to seeing how Chef Mark continues to work the menu. I will definitely visit again next time I am in Montreal.
Ordered the calamari, mushroom crepes, lobster roll and the veal. Nice portions, and good tastes.
