We went for high tea for my sister’s birthday and had an amazing experience. We chose our own tea and we were served scones, pastries & mini sandwiches. Our server Corentin was amazing and very helpful. The price is 49$ +tax & tip but you’re paying for the experience.
Went for high tea! Was absolutely stunning. Table decor, room, dishware... beautiful place. Delicious tiered munchies and tasty tea. Champagne great - though specify if you want MOUSSEUX ... the price difference is important. Highly recommend to try once ! Though... I've been to better, smaller tea houses for high tea.
If you are looking for an glamorous afternoon tea service ,the Palm Court at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal delivers an experience that is beyond service excellence. The ambience is very classy, quiet and very elegant.
Our hostess was fantastic and professional, she talked us through the experience before we were served our food and fine selection of tea. We had the best, most relaxing two hours of tea and champagne service .
My husband is British, he is well acquainted with the crème de la crème of afternoon tea services in London and he thoroughly enjoyed the tea service here. The Palm Court turns into a bar / lounge in the evenings, so you can stay on after tea for a lively atmosphere served with the best cocktails.
Whenever I’m craving for a glamorous afternoon tea, I would happily fly down to Montreal and book the service at the Ritz-Carlton, it’s simply the best!
Beautiful setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tea was fragrant and the bites were delicious. However, it would have been nice to have a bit more sandwiches and scones for that price.
I greatly enjoyed my afternoon tea at the Palm Court. The room is beautiful. The service was top notch. The presentation of the tea service was lovely. They accommodated my gluten allergy wonderfully. I will be returning for certain. I will say that I felt the gf options for the tea were not as good as one can get from the Fairmont, so I removed one star for that. However, the service was perfect—attentive, but not rushing in any way. I imagine the experience would be 5 stars for the standard tea that includes gluten options.

An incredible experience for high tea. Very beautiful room and friendly staff. Tea was flavourful. $39 per person gets you tea, scones with jam and clotted cream, 8 mini finger sandwiches, and desserts. All food was tasty and delicious. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Montréal!
