Delicious and exactly what I anticipated.
We had 8 people on a Saturday evening, and were lucky to get a big table together.
I had the curry beef dumplings + the chicken and coriander dumplings. I believe everyone in our group liked the curry versions of what they orderes best.
The service was slick and friendly, and the price was reasonable for the food.
The only downside was wait times for some to get their food. There were some people who came after we ordered and received their dumplings before us. There doesn't seem to be a real first come first serve system, which can be frustrating.
Came in just to get a taste so we got the Dumpling Sampler which came with 15 of the chef's choice of dumplings. Among the sampler we got a shrimp/pork/chive, pork/corn, pork/scallion, pork/chives, pork/dill, and curry beef. All of the dumplings were tasty and seasoned well. I prefer this spot over Sammi & Soupe. The interior is nice and they have a cocktails menu too. One complaint is the dining area smells a bit like cigarette smoke which I think came from the kitchen.
For a first time dumpling eater, this was an extremely interesting experience for me.I have never been a fan of them, but my Girlfriend kept encouraging me to go,and to be honest, while I didn't enjoy my dumplings much,I really enjoyed my Girlfriends dumplings with coriander.Plusss, the interior deco felt tranquil and slightly sophisticated.
Would definitely recommend investing!
