I have been a frequent customer to this restaurant after getting this tip from my wife's coworker. Their signature dish is the Guilin rice noodles with tomato, pickled vegetables and brisket meat. Overall the restaurant was Cantonese style cafe with many seats and booths and large tv screens in the corner of the restaurants. Parking in this plaza was always horrible.
Went here once and it was really busy! You might have to share a long table with strangers! The waitress couldnt speak very good english so it was a bit difficult ordering. The food was good and came in a really good portion size!
After watching the prelims of the Pan Am Badminton event just down the street from here, we were starving for some real food. No offense, the Pan Am vendors looked weak and wasn't going to cut it. This place was packed and it took us a total of 25 minutes to get a table for four. We decided to order three dishes to share among us. The Portuguese Chicken Spaghetti arrived first, the flavor of the sauce was on the mild side and the chicken lacked any punch to it at all. The Guilin stir fry noodle on the other hand was really tasty and had plenty of flavor to offer. It was probably the best dish of the day. Finally, the egg and shrimp on rice was good if not spectacular. Two of the three dishes came with a soup and drink. The HK milk tea here is excellent and that's what attracts the patrons. On this visit, two out three ain't bad just like winning two out three sets in badminton.
