Legend Pot

BrrrrrR..!! Now that the weather is getting a bit colder and we transition to fall. What better way to cope with the chills than a nice hotpot meal? 🍜♨..

I've always loved hotpot! I would say it's one of my all time favorite things to eat in this whole entire world! What's not to love? Fresh ingredients cooked over a yummy broth! So as you can see I was eager to try Legend pot!

The decor is pretty cute. There's small booths for small parties and large tables for bigger groups. I was very lucky that I got a table without reservations as I heard sometimes even with a reservation, you have to wait a long time to be seated!

The food was very fresh! I loved the beef the most! There was a good mixture of fat in it so it was very tender! There was an assortment of hotpot items found on the menu. All were very fresh. I enjoyed the assortment of dumplings and hand made meat balls. There were also other items available which were not incluced in the dinner menu. But all can be ordered a la carte. Next thing on the hotpot agenda is the dipping sauce! They give the customer the choice of what ingredients they wanted for the dipping sauce! So, you can request for green onion, roasted garlic, and an assortment of sauces could be ordered. This makes a big difference in the overall hotpot experience as the dipping sauce in my opinion really executes all the flavors! The next most important thing in hotpot is the soup! I chose the 'royal spicy' soup! It was very good! The peppery hotness leaves the slight tingly feeling on your tongue, known as 'ma lat' in Chinese. It burns but you love it at the same time! The meal also comes with a dessert. Peanut jelly and strawberry pudding. It compliments the meal as it simmers the hotness down.

I really enjoyed Legend pot. Some people have shared with me that they find it pricier when compared to other hotpot places. I would agree with that. It is. However, the fresh ingredients and traditional' ma lat' soup base wins me over!😆♨🍜👍👍!!
