We researched this restaurant on line before bringing friends of ours that traveled from BC to Ottawa for the 150th. We then went to Kingston for two nights and tried to make a reservation at this restaurant in person , the young lady seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people and could not confirm any time on the patio or inside. We left and called instead and explained our disappointment , the manager Wayne was very understanding and told us he would personally work on that and we should show up , when we got there ha had secured a table and personally greeted us and offered us the first drink and dessert on him. WOW what service!!!!! and by the way the food was fantastic and review that drew us there were spot on. I am very sorry that there are not more stars to express our satisfaction, thank you Wayne and the wonderful server that made our evening. When in Kingston and you want to eat Italian or great pizza this is the place to go.
I have been there twice and both times has been amazing! Excellent service and food! Being a picky eater, I don't like to try new things. The first time I was there, they offered me a chance to change my dish at no extra charge if I didn't like the first dish I picked out. Didn't have it, it was delicious! Very nice and friendly! The second time I was there was with my parents. It was a few days past my birthday and when we got the bill, the dessert that we ordered was on the house - we were not expecting that! Not only that but the food and fantastic and the server we had was outstanding! Keep doing what you're doing!
The service was fast and friendly. As soon as we sat down we were given water and menus. The server made me feel very welcome. I felt like they did push alcoholic beverages a little more than they probably should have. The food was delicious. They cut the pizzas into 4 slices so it is shareable. They have good vegetarian and meat options. Just note on accessibility, the bathrooms are up a flight of stairs followed by going down a set of stairs.
One of my favourite restaurant in Kingston. The food and service is always great. Coco shrimp and voodoo shrimp are good , voodoo shrimp are full of chillies , you got to be tough to handle them. The pizzas are super my family favourite.
After a tough day on the bike (Ottawa to Kingston), including repairing 4 flats, was feeling hungry.
A reservation, at a different restaurant, was cancelled, so we were left scrambling to find a place to eat.
Luckily, Wooden Heads was a short walk from our hotel.
Kingston, on this Saturday night was hopping! This meant a longer wait, but boy was it worth it!
While we were waiting for a seat on the street side patio, a cancellation provided an opportunity to enjoy the wonderfully warm back patio!
The drink menu is expansive and if you enjoy beer, you’ll have a fine selection of craft beers.
The Coco Shrimp were delightful and the Baton Rouge 2.0 had me reminiscing of the warmth, sights, sounds, and smells of Louisiana.
The service was engaging and attentive. I’ll be back - next time for pizza.
Enjoy your food! Make memories.
Went to Kingston for the first time and we're looking somewhere to eat. The restaurant was full but we got lucky and sat in the patio 🌞
The service was great! And the food was good!! Totally recommended 👌

Courteous welcome and service. Booked a week or two out at Kingston, Ontario waterfront. I always arrive and get the bar which they don’t book. Started with Lumpia Diavolo spring rolls stuffed with blackened chicken, feta cheese and red cabbage served with cambazola cream sauce and papaya habernero sauce. This Tapas dish has been on the menu since opening just before 2000. Crunchy delicious and flavourful 👍 I used the sauces for dipping and held them hostage for my Caesar Salad with Lemon Chicken Breast. Asked for more cambazola sauce and was no issue as you can ask for both sauces anytime with any main. Caesar was plentiful, crispy and covered in snappy Caesar dressing, bountiful cheese flakes and added pepper. Accompanied with Brickworks Cider. Finished with Chocolate Lasagne. Thanks guys and gals for a great Mother’s Day dinner 🙂🙏. With gratitude, Chris >
One of the best places to go out to eat in town. It never disappoints. From the amazing food, yummy drinks and awesome friendly staff. We had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner.
Excellent pizza (also the other main dishes are perfect) good wines (also locals wines from Ontario) , friendly and helpful staff.
You can sit inside or at one of the patios (in the front at the street or a little bit more cozy in the back)
The pizza here was so good. I would definitely stop by if you’re in the area. Dough is excellent, toppings are fresh. The dessert was also really good. Service was good. They don’t take down names or a number if you walk in, you just have to wait right outside the restaurant until a table is ready so I would suggest making reservations ahead of time.
