Definitely one of Kingston's 'Gems'. Delicious coffee, a great bakery selection (their Biscotti are to die for), and a superb lunch menu to boot! The staff are always pleasant, smiling, making conversation, and it didn't take long before they memorized my order! (Large Med-Roast w/ room for milk 😉) If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, a delicious 'homey' lunch, or even just a nice calm space to sit back and surf the web, you can't get much better than this!

Little gem of a place, great to pick up a few supplies and baked goods. Do yourself a favour: do not leave without a croissant, they're the best in the city.

Just In love with this place!!!. Just stopped by this weekend while visiting family and had the best cappachino and scones and tarts! The tarts were so nice they had a really tasty lemon filling and I got two to go! I definately will recommend this place to anyone that is swinging by Kingston and is looking for coffee by the lake!

Sort of Secretly Addicted to this Place!. So, as you may have guessed, I'm sort of secretly addicted to this place. My uncle told me about it when he was visiting over the break, and I actually felt kinda stupid that I lived so close to it without actually, you know, having ever gone inside.

Super glad I did! It's warm and cozy, and looks like it's right out of the past. The building's limestone and has a lot of old, dark wood. Kinda reminds me of a cafe where my great-grandparents would've first met in the 1920s or something. The baked goods are simply amazing, and it's finally nice to have a small place in the neighbourhood for groceries! Haven't tried any of the frozen meals yet, but from what I can tell, it's a lot of local stuff, so like, the meals are from local restaurants and frozen. There's sausage, meats, and veggies from farms in the Kingston area, which really scores a LOT of points with me!

And the coffee! Oh the coffee! They've got a really talented bunch of people who put latte art in all of the drinks, and a really big array of flavours too. I'm so addicted to their pumpkin spice latte, which is YEAR ROUND unlike those "other guys." Speaking of Starbucks, unlike them, The Common Market doesn't burn their beans, so it actually tastes good. Ha! Anyhow I don't want to end on a sour note, but I'm really really into this place and can't recommend it enough.

Oh! They also have a coffee card which fills up every time that you buy a drink, so eventually, your addiction pays off!

Awesome coffee and the best chocolate croissants this side of the Atlantic. Wonderful, friendly staff! They even provided biscuits and water for our dog while we sat on the bench outside.

Very pleasant and cozy place. Good selection of sandwiches, prepared and to order available. Quality foods, some organic and local produce at reasonable prices. Surprisingly good espresso as well. Definitely a favorite of mine when visiting.

Cute coffee shop. Captures the feel of the town. Great Lattes! The espresso is on point. I loved the variety of table and chairs. The little store inside was picturesque too

Very delicious food and coffee! Small, warm, homestyle place. I love little cafés like this that are the farthest thing from a mediocre chain restaurant so I will definitely be back!

Good (not great) coffee but excellent pastries. I had a blueberry scone that’s up there with the best pastries I’ve eaten. They also do bagels if you want something less sugary. A nice setting, good number of tables. You can sit at the window and see the lake.
