Great little tea/coffee shop in downtown Kingston. Lovely tea selection and dessert selection. Adequate seating available. Great spot for a chat with friends.
The staff are always friendly. At times the place can be quite busy with no where to sit, which can be disappointing. The atmosphere is nice, and the kind of place where you can sit down to read or study, have a coffee date, or people watch across at the market square.
Best place for tea in Kingston! Have a tried a few of their desserts as well and enjoyed them. No wifi, but good atmosphere to unplug and unwind.
Nice place for tea and conversations, especially after a nice dinner downtown. I usually get the Iron Goddess Oolong tea, but there's so many to choose from and I actually like that they give you a pot of tea.
The atmosphere is also nice and that they also have outlets, so this is an improvement over other coffee places downtown.
Love their ham cheese panini! Mocha latte pretty decent but I am not a coffee person.Smoothie a bit bland but love this coffee shop in the back for working since they have large table and comfy bar chairs. In the front , large open windows which opens up on the terrace for people watching. Friendly Servers.
Amazing Homemade Deserts!!. Not only do there coffee make me so happy every time I stop in, but all the deserts sitting in the their display fridge always pull me into to ordering at least one scrumptious item.
Their deserts are so delicious and never disappoint!!!
They also offer a large amount of gluten free desert that are all made in house daily.
Homemade carrot cake to die for. I visit Sipps frequently as I am a student and it's often a quiet place to get in some study time. I recently made the switch from coffee to tea. The staff was extremely outgoing and helpful while helping me pick a tea. The woman recommended the blood orange tea which was amazing. I also decided to indulge in a slice of their carrot cake, which I found out during my conversation is made in store as are many of their cheesecakes. All I can say about that carrot cake is OMG!!! It was out of this world.
My friends have had the creme brule and peanut butter mochas and both gave rave reviews.
On one occasion I have been asked on a Saturday afternoon after a couple of hours if I would mind sharing with another student or if I would allow people waiting to use my table which I more then happily agreed to. The manager had told me previously in conversation that on Saturday and Sunday afternoons they will monitor table usage to try to accommodate all of their customers which I think is fair.
I will definitely continue to frequent Sipps and recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it.
Super Adorable. While hitting up the antique market a couple Sundays ago I had a hankering for some espresso. Saw the sweet little Sipps sign across Brock street and decided to finally hit this place up. It would give me time to consider purchasing a cute Raleigh too. Got myself a dry cap and tried out one of their cornmeal muffins and fell in love. Super delish and the girls working were helpful. Loved the atmosphere of the market square regulars coming in and chit-chatting with the workers. I'd love to be a regular at this place and I loved their creative specialty lattes and their prices. It was awfully warm but that does make me excited to visit them in the winter since they did have very comfortable chairs to relax on at least.
It is absolutely the cozy coffeeshop you can visit to relax and enjoy the best london fog in town. Their sweets are good and fresh. Service is also great. Would reccomend 100 percent.
Staff are friendly and welcoming!
Convenient location for all seasons as it is located next to City Hall. Many hot and cold drink selections all which are great! Lots of food/snack options as-well. Has lots of seating and even more when patio season begins! Nice little coffee shop to have a drink and snack while reading the paper (provided) or people watching downtown!
Good drinks. Once you get past the front desk the dining areas look amazing. Drinks are old fashion. They're sooo good.
Good coffee and wide selection of sweets and teas - the cheesecake icecream was delicious and there is nice outdoor seating available here.
Not the cheapest place to get a coffee (good things aren't usually cheap), but it is an excellent spot to stop for a delicious treat and specialty coffees/hot chocolates. Definitely a must try!
Excellent service
Very tasty coffee
Definitely recommend it!
Tasty selection of drinks and treats. Very lovely service. Would go here to work, to talk, or just to relax. Great vibes!
One of the best coffee shops in the city! Great location and good environment, many different drinks and nice espresso. Better than Crave and Coffee&Co and on par with Balzac’s in my opinion.
