Granted I've heard mixed reviews of this location but I will give you mine. Social 242 has been me and my wife's go to place for almost any special occasion, we are always treated with exceptional food and it is the only place where I've actually tried every single item on the menu. Social 242 is always had exceptional customer service the only downside I could say would be that their menu is becoming somewhat stagnant and after 7 p.m. Their restaurant can become fairly noisy since they also serve alcohol. Both of these two minor things can be overlooked because of the exceptional food that we are served every single time that we go to this restaurant. We have always been treated well and we will continue to treat this restaurant to our continued business.

We were looking for a place to eat at 9pm in Kelowna and to our surprise allot of places stop serving food around 830-9. We then came across social 242 lounge and grill and went in. The staff from waitress, bartender ,cook, and DJ were very accommodating, we then proceeded to order allot of food and wow everything was awesome from food to drinks and service. I will be going back as it was a great experience in how a restaurant should be. My thanks go out to everyone there.
The food here was amazing, nothing short of delicious! Not to mention they have a full vegan menu and are willing to veganize whatever you’d like! Drinks were great, service was great! Definitely an awesome spot if you’re looking to have dinner with some friends, they had a DJ, great vibes!
I came here by myself as I was traveling, Avery took great care of me and made me feel welcome even though the place was empty (was early in the evening). Drinks have been delicious and the vibe is solid (my food is on the way but I'm already v happy). 10/10

Ordered the summer 3 course meal ($35) with lots of options for vegan and meat eaters. The starters are on the small side, tasty. We ordered the summer salad and bruschetta (not traditional but with cream cheese and basil pesto). The mains are the star here with a seafood fettuccini and peach bbq pork ribs served with roasted potatoes and seasonal veggies. The portions were a good size that made up for the starter. There are 6 choices from cheesecake, boozy coffee, gf fruit crumble and lemon bar served with vegan lavender ice cream (from parlour creamery!)
Food was amazing and surprisingly cheap. The music was a vibe, with a friendly atmosphere. I will for sure be back
Food is great! Loud music! Drinks are not well done, that’s why I gave 4 star, lots young people. Came here on Tuesday. This is my first time came here so the experience is limited. Weekend maybe different.
We went here for drinks and ended up buying food. Seriously, the food here is amazing! Seafood Fettuccini was incredible! Kind of strange considering they have a DJ and music is pretty loud. Id definitely recommend this place.
One of our favorite food spots by far. Amazing service always good food and music.
Good place for a date. Good lighting. Music was kinda odd, played electronic remixes of “losing my religion” and “zombie” - found that very odd for the atmosphere they seem to be going for.
Food was good overall. Bruschetta was really really good. Caesar salad, was meh. Really salty and not much zing to the dressing.
Both the mains we got were good.
Server was very friendly and did a good job.
