My wife and I have been going to Basil & Mint for two years and have had an amazing experience with every visit. Tonight was no exception. We visited to celebrate our anniversary and were immediately welcomed and congratulated. We were sat by the window as per my reservation and the service was impeccable. My wife is a fan of the roast chicken and it has never disappointed. I usually vary between the specials and again have never been disappointed. The flavors are always bold and the meat very juicy. My recommendation is their 16oz steak when it's one of their seasonal specials. Their menu selection is a little smaller but each item is mastered by the chefs. If you are looking for a restaurant for your special occasion, whatever it may be, or an evening to treat yourself to amazing cuisine I can't recommend this place any higher.
Just had the most awesome dinner! The staff was professional and friendly. Our waiter knew his wine and the menu inside and out. I would definitely recommend going there for dinner.
We had a group dinner and the food & service was amazing! Stevie was our server who was such a delight to work with. Thank you Basil & Mint for the best meal I’ve had in a while. The mushroom risotto was so flavourful & delicious, the Caesar salad was perfect and the tiramisu was so light & fluffy with big taste. I would definitely recommend eating here!
I booked the private room at this fantastic venue this evening for a gal pal birthday party. Everything was fantastic from start to finish - Stevie our server was absolutely amazing. The food looked wonderful and tasted even better, we had a choice of three entrees from a set menu which were all delicious everyone enjoyed what they ordered. To top it off the manager, Chris came out when we were leaving to introduce himself and to make sure we all had a good time. I would say 10 Stars if Google would allow it, hats off to everyone there - we will definitely be back and spread the word!
So happy to have found this place! As a traveller with a companion who is celiac, it can be a challenge to find a good place to eat. Almost all dishes were gluten free and the cross contamination considerations from the restaurant staff was amazing. The food was outstanding. And the drinks were delicious! Try the house vodka ceaser.
Our server steven was amazing we had a very lovely time. He was so friendly and was very on point and paid a lot of attention to detail. Super professional he made our dinning experience very enjoyable. The atmosphere and food were very high quality as well. Thank you steven!
Came here for my birthday. We were greeted and seated right away. The atmosphere is very clean and beautiful. We ordered gnocchi the chef mentioned he makes by hand you can tell there is a lot of effort and care in to the food that's made. Everything was plated very well and I felt like I was at a super expensive restaurant. The food prices were very reasonable and not expensive at all. We had a lovely time, this is our go to place from now on!

Stevie served our family of 5 tonight on the patio. We had the $45 3 course meals and a pitcher of sangria along with three kids meals. I was impressed by the relaxed ambiance of the patio, the impeccable friendly service by Stevie and the delicious and artistically plated meals. We left feeling relaxed and stuffed and the kids said it was the best restaurant we ever went to! Thanks Basil and Mint for a great dining experience!

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a dessert, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The presentation was beautiful, and the taste surpassed our expectations.
We had the pleasure of being served by Stevie during our visit, and his service was exceptional from start to finish. His personality was the perfect blend of sweet and spice and everything nice! He was excited to recommend the secret limoncello cheesecake, and we are so happy he did! The cheesecake was delightfully tangy and creamy, while the crème brûlée had the perfect balance of a caramelized sugar crust and a smooth, velvety custard. The friendly service was the highlight of our evening and we look forward to returning!
Always enjoy the selection of Wine and well presented food. The braised beef is extremely tender, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The ambiance allows for great conversation and service is attentive and professional.
