I have purchased some spices in the past but it really is hard to beat the high quality and freshness you get when you purchase Shivani’s Kitchen products. Locally made as well which is great. Support local and if it is high quality, fresh products made with care you are looking for, Shivani’s Kitchen products needs to be on your grocery list.
I bought the frozen chickpea curry with rice. So so tasty! Cant wait til they have the family size!!!!
The 2 servers working behind the counter were both really accommodating and welcoming! The prices are very reasonable and they offer cooking classes too.
I would take off a Star here, as the flavors are not very Indian / spicy / authentic. It is made fresh to order and some stuff might be better than others.

Have several Shivani spices at home for cooking with. Recently made a recipe for spicy nuts for the holidays and a commercial brand spice was almost tasteless. Grabbed my Shivani’s and the handy spice metre on the bottle helped me choose the best spicy option from my different bottles of Shivani’s spices. The result was fantastic spicy flavourful nuts that the family loved. Kicking the other brands to the curb and depending on Shivani’s from now on!
I treated my family to your Biryani tonight with chicken and your Biryani masala purchased from the Free Range Store. It was incredible, the best I have ever had from take away. I also made the garam masala potatoes just to try for an appetizer, delish!! Everyone went home full and happy!!
I recently tried Shivani's ready made meals at Sobeys and they were absolutely amazing. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend the curry chicken and/or butter curry to friends and family.
We had Shivani come for my hubby’s birthday to teach us how to cook a traditional Indian Street food recipe. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed this experience!! Shivani was patient and the clean-up was most welcome, nice to cook and not clean up!! ;). Thanks Shivani and Gaff (sp?). Still waiting for the email with recipes - looking forward to it!!
Great Cooking Class with Team Building! We have Shivani come to our office for a cooking class. She was great. She made sure everyone on the team participated and helped make some excellent Indian dishes. I am looking forward to making pakoras at home soon!
Also I was just at her restaurant this weekend at the Seaport Market and had one of the best meals. Shivani's is a must!
Shivani's Kitchen catered our wedding, and we were completely satisfied with them. They were perfectly professional and worked with us to create exactly the menu we wanted, down to adjusting levels of individual spices, and the food was amazing! We had tons of compliments on it. Shivani and her husband were great to work with, and we highly recommend them for catering your event, or just stopping by their restaurant in the Seaport Market for some great food!
