The best coffee shop in Halifax.
Great coffee, cozy, welcoming atmosphere, super-friendly staff, reasonably priced delicious food including homemade soups. Cinnamon rolls to die for.
If in Halifax, this is the place to go for coffee.
I am on vacation in Halifax and I always need a fresh hot coffee in the morning. I’m staying right across from Cabin Coffee, where the coffee is great and the staff are nice. The decor is very sweet and there are always people sitting inside, enjoying the couches. This place makes my mornings!
I love cabin coffee. My friends joked about that it is my spiritual home because I come here almost everyday for my morning reading! I gradually feel that it is not a joke. I love the nature decorations, cozy chairs, delicious pastries and coffee, and most importantly the friendly and welcoming staff. I always feel relaxed when I’m in the coffee shop! It’s definitely my gem spot in halifax! ❤️
Absolutely love the cosy ski lodge atmosphere of cabin coffee. The cinnamon buns/breakfast cookies are delish! All of the dishes/mugs are quite cute and unique looking. A great place to relax and read.
Open early on Saturday morning, arrived around eight and there were about 50% occupancy. Staffs were friendly, I ordered breakfast sandwich and scone with double shots espresso, everything were good. Coffee was great.
Cozy little place! Great place to stop in for a coffee to go or to stay and sit! Many people working or studying in the comfy space. We got the sweet potato soup with a toasted roll, blue berry cranberry muffins & ice coffee and a milkshake. All was absolutely delicious & fresh!
Seriously the coziest coffee shop. It was pretty busy when I went there but was able to find two seats anyway. The whole cabin theme is very inviting and comfortable. The hearty vegetable soup + cornbread was so good and a good portion for a good price. Plus as I was leaving there were fresh chocolate chip cookies coming out, which were really yummy!
Edit: stopped in again for tea and a blueberry cranberry oatmeal muffin - super fresh and it was I guess during a non-peak time because there was lots of seating available to eat in :)
My absolute favourite little coffee shop. The staff are all wonderful and so cheery and the atmosphere is super cozy. I always love seeing Liz, Erica, and Anna especially - they always ask about my day, remember my order, and have contagious smiles. The food and drinks are great and reasonably priced especially for downtown! And catering is always great and accommodating when I order from them. Thanks to all that work there. 😁
Get your butt down here to The Cabin
A nice big comfortable place with big leather chairs or small wooden tables, there is a constant flow in takeaways and fewer sit and relax folks. The brewed coffee gets a 7/10, the lattes a 10/10 , and the melt in your mouth cinnamon buns a serious 11/10, all with a relax factor of 12/10.
Prices are in the Justinflation stratosphere, but we still have to escape occasionally, even when it's our $ yet again - think $6000/nite hotel room to satisfy a narcissistic ego that would kill you if you jumped down to his ego. Let's hope wonderful little places like this don't go down the drain and take the important yet modest jobs with it.
Definitely would return!
Ugh..the cinnamon rolls. Incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is quite cozy and homey. Very cost friendly:)
Warm and cozy coffee shop in downtown Halifax! The decoration is amazing, I can imagine it would be even more dreamy during Xmas time.
The coffee tastes very fresh and delicious. The pastry ootions are a bit limited. The peanut butter cookie was so delicious though!
Wonderful cozy atmosphere that feels like you’re actually sitting in a cabin. That friendly East Coast charm, makes you feel like a local. The breakfast bun with bacon was delicious. Plain & simple good! Plenty of options: bagels, freshly baked scones & gluten free options too. Highly recommend a stop in, you’ll love it!
