Best coffee in town. I've been going there for over ten years.
Love Steve-o- Reno's! Staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is very neighbourly :)
Had a great breakfast here on the last day of our vacation. It's a cute little cafe with a small patio as well. Food and drinks were really good! Slightly on the pricey side but everything was fresh and delicious so can't complain.
really friendly staff, cutest environment ever, great location, and i LOVE the pastries here! spelt blueberry muffin you have my heart. also one of the few places in town that knows how to do espresso drinks well. pricey but you pay for what you get ☺️ great place to study or meet with a friend. and the breakfast/lunch menu is superb! i just wish they were open past 2. also i love the wallpaper in here.
We got the lox bagel and green egg o-reno, both were super tasty and the breads were fresh. Non-dairy options for our cold brew. Busy from the sec it opened but service was fast.
I love this place! It's local, very friendly staff, a great place to sit. The coffee is always good and the food is delicious. Only problem is they close early and can get quite busy. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and you can tell by the picture that it is great. A must visit to anyone going to Halifax.
We had good food at Steve O Reno's. Their service was good. We ordered the Egg-o-reno without ham and an avocado toast with pesto. Both were good.
Really enjoyed the setting and environment here! The staff are all very sweet and polite. The coffee and bagels are delicious! Very nice cafe and would definitely return!
If you're concerned for COVID, their preventative measures are much better than Ontario restaurants with use of plexiglass dividers.
This cafe is a staple of the city - if the library cafe (rip Pavia) is crowded or you need more serious food for breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go. Car parking is a nightmare so walk or bike down here - hopefully they'll get the permanent bike lane connection completed and then travel here will be a dream. Outdoor patio is usually the latest, so late summer days (sep-oct) this is one of the places to go. Note - hours are always wonky so have a plan B. They're also wrong by design - kitchen shuts down supppper early and THAT should be the closing time for the day. It's not. So expect an hour before closing to be told no more food is available.
Food is sandwiches and wraps, really great (veggie options!) Baked goods, awesome smoothies (purple is a favourite).
Excellent traditional brekkie, gluten free toast made up for watching my friend devour the Montreal bagel with lox.
Oh wow, Pumpkin Chai Latte and Avocado Toast and both was fantastic 😊
Excellent food, cozy setting, and attentive staff. We always look forward to our Saturday morning breakfast as a family, and we’ll be regulars for many years to come! Don’t miss a drop in if visiting Halifax.
