Food was amazing. Honey bbq bacon cheese burger with sweet potato fries and an ultimate mozza burger with fries. The tomatoe, mozza sticks and onions frings were suppose to be on mozza burger. Glad I did ask them to be put on the side, the burger was huge as it was, without them. Definitely give them a try!. Yummm!

I always love Egg Benedict! So I tried at Smitty's too. 10 on 10! So good! Perfect portion, great taste and flavor! I ordered l denedict and coffee. Staff welcomes you with sweet smiles and they are very nice. It was perfect way to end my trip in Halifax!
Dropped in for a hungover brunch today with friends and had a great time. We were served by Kaylie, and she was wonderful. The food was all very good as well. Definitely an excellent brunch and breakfast restaurant! The skillet was delicious!
Always CONSISTENT! Today I was quickly seated and served. Place was empty at the time. Ordered the Texas skillet and it was amazing as usual. The flavour is extremely rich and the hash brown seasoning is generally consistent. Servers were on point with the coffee and checked in on me frequently. Thank you!
Great classic diner, coffee is strong and service was quick and friendly. I got a cheese omelette and it was definitely very cheesy! My friend got the cinnamon swirl pancakes and they were decadent.
Always a staple for weekend brunches, while the interior is a bit dated (quite literally hasn't changed in two decades) the quality of the food has been consistent and predictable, tasty, quickly served and well portioned. The servers are always friendly and attentive.
I've got nothing bad to say, i'll always go back for more. The interior could definitely use an update though.
The staff were super sweet and didn't make us feel rushed at all, and the bacon was perfection, so many places mess that simple thing up but they get it right. The breakfast potatoes were nicely seasoned and delicious as well. Hands down my favorite "breakfast anytime" place.
After passing Smitty's a few times we decided to finally stop in for breakfast. Once we got in the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We ordered 1 Meatlovers Breakfast Skillet and 1 Big Country Breakfast. The food came out fast, hot and delicious. We highly recommend Smitty's for a great breakfast spot. Will be back to try the lunch menu 😊 10/10
The last time I went to Smitty's was out west, and their reputation wasn't the greatest, which is probably I've waited until now to go to this local one near my house. I was very pleasantly surprised though. The service was prompt, friendly and excellent and the food was way better than I remember it being. I ordered a custom breakfast that wasn't on the menu and the waitress brought it out exactly as I requested. Very impressed. Love the bottomless coffee as well. The menu is so huge though, making a decision can be tough. Can't go wrong with their all-day breakfast though.
