When you're having midnight cravings this is definitely the place to order from. Their pizza is quiet good. Not to mention they always deliver quick!

We loved our visit!. My husband & I were referred to try Freeman's on Quinpool by friends in the area, and we had a great experience! First, the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and prompt. Second, the food was awesome! They were featuring a "local special"; a chipotle and guacamole burger. Absolutely delish. My husband had their pizza and was very happy. Good sized crust, perfect about of sauce and fresh toppings(REAL bacon). The atmosphere is welcoming, with great oldies music. We love this place and will be coming back!
Considering Halifax is a ghost town after10 PM this place could get by being mediocre... however this is not the case. Great food good beers on tap including crafts.
This nice 'lil joint has nothing to do with NY but I gotta say it's good. Visiting from KY, USA and walked past. Stopped and had a couple local microbrews and some pizza. Pizza and beer were pretty darn good. Service was good though not terribly friendly. Although I must post a disclaimer. They were pretty busy, and working their butts off. so this can be excused. I'd say drop in. Pizza is fresh tasting and good. Though the music played on stereo threw me for a loop. Did not seem to me to be appropriate for crowd. I actually heard the theme song from "perfect strangers" tv show. Thought it was a joke but it wasn't. Try it anyway. You won't be dissappointed
Tasty pizza and local draught beer. After 9 on a Sunday night, there was practically nothing apart from burger/fast food joints open, until we walked past Freeman's. From the outside, it looked interesting. As we walked in, we were greeted and told the bar and kitchen were still open. Halifax's Propeller Brewery beers (mostly ales) were on tap. Honey Wheat Ale and IPA went down very well with the Philly Cheesesteak on multigrain crust pizza. I wasn't so sure about the Philly Cheesesteak originally, but my first bite changed my mind. The toppings were nicely done, as was the crust (a bit crispy, a bit chewy) - and not greasy.
Live this place! Always friendly staff. Good food great pizza. Only problem, the don't have Keiths on tap!

Great place!. Freeman's is a great little restaurant/bar that I like go to often. My friends and I go almost every friday, and have always had great service. The menu does not have a huge choice but if you are hungry for awesome burgers or a nicely cooked thin crust pizza this place will not disappoint. Of anything it is a well stocked bar menu with a few rarities that you normally wouldn't find in a bar .Also, try the haddock..... it is exactly what I look for when ordering a haddock dish. No complaints!!!!!!
Just remember when reading reviews that people don't normally review a place unless they are so utterly disappointed with it that they feel they must share it to the world ( and sometimes, pretentious or presumptuous douch-bags are impossible to please..take it from a former server. Im talking about those people that go to a restaurant expecting a steak , and if it is not on the menu it becomes the worst place in the world.)
It's a great place to enjoy pizzas. The provide a vast variety of pizzas for everyone. They do have great appetizers as well. The choice of cocktails are amazing. Must try Spiked Coffee š My favorite pizza here is their house special. If you love feta cheese, go for it. Also the service is awesome even when they are super busy. Ambience is also awesome and choices of seating arrangements if you wish to sit by the road view or the regular seatings.
Quaint little restaurant with decent prices, good food and friendly staff. One of the big draws as a student is they take DalCard money and serve food until late. The food itself was tasty, came in large portions and delivered quickly. The light fixtures in the restaurant are beautiful and add a warm ambiance that gives a very homely feel to the place. Would recommend if you are looking for a solid, decently priced meal
Always loved Freemanās for supper and evening beers but just discovered they have a deadly brunch and was priced really well for me and my kids. My new go to for brunch for sure. Also only place I could find on Boxing Day open.

The poutine was one of the best in Halifax.
Their decor is beautiful. Feels like New York city. Overall loved it and will definitely come again.
I eat in and order delivery here very often and Iāve never had a bad meal! The food is fantastic. I usually get the wraps, burgers, poutines or pizza š¤¤
I had the best evening here. The food, the service, it was all amazing. Lisa was our server, she was absolutely phenomenal! She was quick, efficient, friendly and the loveliest. If you stop here you must give her kudos for being the best.

I had the Vinnie Guacamole Burger. Definitely a mouthful. It wasnāt easy to eat and if you order anything that is smashed avocado be prepared for a messy experience. Decent food.
Visited twice during our recent trip to Halifax. The first visit was for breakfast. The server was attentive and kind, and the food was great in both flavour and value. Our second visit was in the evening, after a long day working with family. To our surprise and delight, they had live music! It was the first such experience we had in almost 2 years. The musician was incredible, playing an eclectic variety of songs. It was the perfect accompaniment to an evening of exceptional local beer and amazing pizza! We will most certainly be back. Thank you Freeman's!
Great pizza, especially the sauce - it has a nice spice to it. A good portion of toppings for the price and size. Only thing that could you use a little improvement is the crust. Thereās nothing wrong with it per say, but itās kind of halfway between a thick crust and thin crust so doesnāt really hit either perfectly.
I love this place. Food is amazing. People are great. Only thing is so many tables and not enough space to walk by. Kinda have to walk sideways to get to the bathroom if sitting at the bar.
