I am in love with their nachos, I am always very very pleased with the services! My go to place to eat in the city, and I am treated great whether I show up dressed up or hung over :)
We arrived just before our requested time slot, but failed to earn acknowledgement from any of the four staff members that passed by. The hostess was running around and assisting members of the waitstaff with order-taking and delivery with complete disregard for our piercing, ravenous glares. It was until closer to 7:40 - 7:45 PM that we were finally seated, and promptly abandoned.

The order that had prompted our reservation was the 1 1/4 lb Lobster Supper. Valued at twenty-nine dollars, the set included a whole lobster, corn on the cob, drawn butter, coleslaw, and a small bread roll. One could also opt in for Local Steamed Mussels, Arcadian Seafood Chowder, and a Dessert of the Day for an additional fifteen dollars. This plate - add-on included - was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire meal.
Ate here several times,always good food and great service.They have a casual fair menu and more formal menu,also amazing deserts and several local beers to choose from....enjoy as I do
I had several meals here while waiting for a diverted flight to be rescheduled and I was pretty happy with all of them. The healthy start breakfast was light and delicious; a great way to start the day. The clubhouse was basic and not bad but just okay. The burger though was probably one of the best I've ever had. I believe it was called 'Kevin's Burger', which was juicy and cooked perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing on it and I would definitely eat it again. Give it a try.
Great Food. This is truly a 5 star restaurant, the food was fantastic. Service was top notch, friendly and not rushed. Their wine recommendation was right on, we had Nova Scotia Tidal Bay wine and it was excellent.
Our service was fairly slow, even when they didn't look to be that busy. Really the only negative of an otherwise excellent dining experience. Everything tasted great!

We went in after making a reservation on St. Patrick’s Day. Given it was a busier-than-usual day the service was a bit slow(understandable). The portion sizes were fine with the taste being above average. The fried chicken burger was fine although I wish it had one piece of fried chicken instead of few tiny ones as it would be easier to handle. The pasta and the black bean burger were a success and can be recommended for Vegetarian folks. Weirdly their fries were soft and not crunchy. The taste was fine though so not an issue. Highly recommend their Black Forest cake. The taste of Beep Brulee wasn’t something one of our friends expected but the staff was generous enough to replace her order for no extra charge. This was almost at their closing time(Appreciate this for sure). Their service is good and I’ll be sure to visit again someday to try rest of their menu.
The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious with perfect portion sizes I had a harbour city burger with the best bacon jam I’ve ever tasted! My husband had an equally delicious steak sandwich with house made chips. The chef Mohammad came out to talk to us after we told our waiter how much we loved the food. Mohammad graciously gave me the ingredients to his bacon jam! We can’t wait to return to Halifax so we can eat here once again.
The service is great. The food is delicious. I recommend coming to check it out.
While staying at Hotel Halifax, this place was our starting point every morning. Buffett or off the menu everything was great. Spacious inside and the service was top notch. Server we had for the first three days made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed to start our day. Nice to have someplace downstairs from our room, being able to go back up and get ready to start our daily adventures.
This isn't your ordinary hotel restaurant! It's actually fire, the fish and chips were perfection, reasonably priced and a huge portion. Staff were super friendly and sweet. Would definitely come here to enjoy some seafood while staying in Halifax without the "tourist tax" like at the waterfront.
We ended up here two nights in a row. The first night, we arrived too late and the kitchen had closed, but Anthony provided us with some amazing options for places that were still open, and helped us have an amazing first night in Halifax. The second night, we sat with Anthony again, and he provided excellent service. The food and atmosphere are great and have a nice broad selection for people of all tastes. Would absolutely recommend!
Relaxing atmosphere and comfortable seating. (They have small highchairs available too). They had a football game on the large TV at bar. Lovely servers.

I was staying at the Halifax Hotel so dinner here was the most convenient due to time constraints. Andy the bartender was amazing, he gave great recommendations, great service and conversation. Classic and timeless east coast hospitality.
The restaurant itself is very nice. The service was top notch. And the food, while the menu wasn't as big as I remembered, they had great food! Fish and chips was amazing. Also, as always, good local beer!
