Cannot say enough good things about this amazing place! Everytime we eat there we are treated like family by the wonderful staff and get treated to some of the best food we've ever eaten. They are all about fresh, homegrown ingredients and concepts, and everything on the ever changing menu is just the best. Also love the work they do in the community. Can't get much better than the people and food at workshop! Recommend to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat, thanks workshop!!

Chef Paul is amazing. I booked a surprise Chef's Table for my boyfriend's birthday and it was a simply delightful night. Chef was very attentive to what our likes and dislikes were and although he was not available that night, Chef Nic tailored each dish accordingly and absolutely did not disappoint! Very cozy atmosphere, the staff were all so friendly, and service was exceptional. Sara is a wonderful server and we were well looked after. The bartender J.F. Is a cocktail wizard and paired our four course meal beautifully with some very tasty twists on some classics in such an entertaining way. Great experience!

Lunch at the workshop eatery. Glad we made a reservation as this place is busy today. Staff are quick to seat us and bring us our drinks. After a visit a long perusal of the menu we decided on the cheese burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The cheese burger arrives with a salad topped with prosciutto and a gluten free bun. Fried chicken sandwich arrives with the same type of salad and on a multi grain bun. Both sandwiches are HUGE! Flavors are great, both proteins are cooked perfectly and salads are dressed nicely. Staff are friendly and attentive. Keeping our table clean our drinks full and delivering the dessert menu at just the right time. We order a gluten free chocolate cake to share. It comes with vanilla bean ice cream and berry compote, also very good.
Service was great throughout our stay and the food was fab.
Note* restaurant is very noisy when busy and when slow. We had a hard time hearing each other at lunch. Both when the restaurant was full and when we were the only table left.

3.5 for a true score but 4.0 for its location in the southside where we are lacking unique restaurants like this with character.  First things first, the arancini was amazing.  I felt like I was eating in a high end bistro in Italy.  So fresh and so well put together.  The hefty price tag is well justified.  If anything, that is the dish to get.  Everything else... well... here we go.  I think my chicken burger was OK.  The chicken was overcooked, dark, and crispy.  I can get over that.  What I couldn't get over was how saucy or "wet" the tomatoes were.   I wish it was paper toweled before serving it.  Thank goodness the bun was tough as all heck (and fresh) so it didn't fall apart while I was trying to eat it.  Forgettable at best, really.  The homemade chips were fantastic though.  I couldn't get enough of that and I wish they were more generous about it.  The veggie melt sandwich was burnt at first but they re-made it after we voiced our concerns.  It came back looking more alive and vibrant.  Other than these hiccups, I'd say it's a great place for gathering with a super high ceiling and a nice atmosphere.  I sometimes felt neglected because I sat so far away from all the happenings of the kitchen in the center, but it's good to get some lone time I suppose.  Good place for a date and also a good place to break up without feeling awkward.

Ate here for lunch one afternoon with some friends and was pleasantly surprised at the quality for such a commercial/industrial area. I had the eggplant parmesan sandwich and the carrot ginger soup. Both were great but not outstanding. The service was adequate but didn't pop out for me. I was told that the arancini is really good so if I go back that is what I will try.

Came here for brunch with a close friend. It's an open concept restaurant meaning that it's a bit loud but service was nice and attentive. I had the ham and cheese omelet. It was a lot of food as I didn't realize it also.comes with toast. I thought it was good. A bit lacking in seasoning but I could see how they wanted to use the flavours from the ingredients to come through. It was a bit on the greasy side so if you easily get heartburn from fat, beware. I would try it again for another meal to see what the place has to offer.

I obviously forgot the name of that first dish, but it was on special and not on the website menu. However, it was one of the tastiest pieces of Cod i’ve ever had. Our group had a whole bevy of small plates. The Arancini (risotto balls) were cooked and tasted perfect, Belly & Butternut had the best taste and flavor with maple braised pork belly. Maple braised anything is pretty good, but on pork belly it’s so good that you bite into it and nod your head in approval and agree it is what’s up. What isn’t up was the Duck Carpaccio as the duck taste was fine but the combination of blood orange vinaigrette and soy reduction didn’t compliment the duck’s gamey flavor. All the large plates our #squad got were so good. Pomegranate Braised Lamb Shank, Duck Duck Couscous, and the Cod were all MVP’s of the meal. However, I read a review online that someone had the steak and it sucked. That person is an idiot. We had the Token Steak Dish rare, and for a baseball cut angus beef sirloin, it was a RUN HOME JACK. All the desserts were also delicious but the winner was the Croissant Bread Pudding that had a certain soigne, congrats, you win an award.

Workshop Eatery is located in this cool Mosaic Centre where apparently it’s a net zero office building so it’s power comes from gerbils running on treadmills. Owner needs to change up the Spotify playlist because the hard rock was ruining the ambiance for some old people, and they also need to change out the wooden barstools cause sitting in them was death, but despite that this place is super cool looking. Although pretty far south, this place is worth the drive. This place was the Steph Curry of restaurants, very high good food percentage. Everything we had was a three point buzzer beater…..clutch.

The food (deviled eggs & duck duck couscous) and the wine (Argentine Melbec) were excellent. Prices were reasonable given the quality of ingredients. The atmosphere was good - great for casual dining with mid level elegance. The service was slow but pleasant nonetheless.

The Workshop Eatery recently opened in Summerside in a somewhat random area, with the area around it currently still under construction.  I actually missed it the first time I drove by!  Anyways, going there on a Friday holiday for brunch with a friend, I noticed that the restaurant was fairly empty when we came.  Only a few people were seated, and the waitresses seemed fairly relaxed while working.

Service as a whole was good.  The waitress was keeping an eye on our table but also not being too overwhelming.  Whenever I needed something it was promptly given, and food was served fairly fast.

Onto the food itself, I got the Wakey Wakey Eggs N’ Bacey, which includes two eggs (I chose scrambled), bacon, ham, toast, and potatoes.  The eggs were perfect, creamy and melted in the mouth.  The bacon, ham, and toast were also well done.  Not too overly greasy, and left a satisfying feeling.  A (minor) complaint was that the potatoes were burnt, hence weren't the best when I tried them.  The ketchup that I got seemed homemade (or at least not the regular Heinz kind), and I really enjoyed how well it went with everything (I even tried it with the toast and it surprisingly went well!).  My friend got the Fresh Ground Burger with their chips (yes, they are real chips, not fries) which he told me was a really good choice and that he'd get it again.

One of the few things that might detract me from trying this again is the brunch price (~$17 for both dishes) .  I found the price slightly higher for brunch than I expected compared to other places (Ex: Coras, etc).  However, I still felt satisfied as I left the restaurant.  All in all, I'd love to come back and try some of the other meals like lunch or dinner, and maybe find a dish that I love.  Recommended.

Taken as a whole, we had a great dinner at The Workshop Eatery: our dishes were good and the service was attentive. If there's one thing I love about The Workshop Eatery, it's their commitment to sustainability and supporting local producers. Their decision to move into the Mosaic Centre means that the drive to their restaurant is long and far for many patrons, but the principles of the building align with the values of the restaurant. It's great to see so many local farmers mentioned throughout the menu, and I think it will be interesting to see how things shift once the growing season in Edmonton comes around.

Yes, this is a great place to dine in. I loved the vibes. The atmosphere is very laid back and and welcoming. I was very happy with the food; it was well prepared and tasted great. The presentation/plating was also great. My one criticism is that the sauces and sides were just shy of being too salty. I experienced this both times I've dined here. The ingredients used is great and and the chefs are clearly very technical and I hope they can adjust the sodium level in the future. There is just no reason to over salt.

My husband first had a dine-in experience at the Workshop Eatery with his colleagues, and he wouldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was. So, we decided to all visit for my birthday dinner. True to his words, I was not disappointed. Even my little picky eater devoured his meal. Their Lobster & Artichoke dip starter was sooooo good; I'm head over heels. Then we had the pork chop and the smoked short rib main menu while the kids enjoyed their chicken fingers + grilled cheese + potato chips. The restaurant was an excellent choice. Thank you for my special birthday dessert serving.

Nice environment great food. The only reason I gave it a four star is because the soup I had is a bit salty. It was a mushroom soup, could be it’s done in a big pot, and steamed for a while, then the soup got salty. Otherwise, everything is good!

I am honestly so impressed. This is the first place I've had in Edmonton that comes close to the quality of food I've had in New York. For real. The flavors are unbeatable. I had the salmon. Excellent cook, best risotto, and wonderfully paired with beets. Each bite was amazing. 100% coming back.

Great place for foodies.! The style of cooking was so refreshing and different than what other local restaurants have to offer. Kudos to the executive chef for such a versatile menu! Although, drinks menu can be further expanded. A must visit!

My Wife and I had our Wedding at the Primed Mosaic Centre and decided to have a somewhat low-key 1st Anniversary supper at the Workshop. Well... Kari and the cook had other plans! They went out of their way to make it a very special night for us. Kari had a special dessert serving made for us, she even played our "First Dance" music when it was served. Kari also indulged us and recreated a couple of the wedding photos that we took one year ago. Now about the food... The carpaccio was outstanding and both entrees were fantastic. Dessert, coffee, drinks, and great ambiance. It was so refreshing to have Tier 1 service with energy and enthusiasm. We were so happy a year ago with the efforts the staff made then, and they have exceeded all expectations tonight! Thank you to Kari and the great staff at The Workshop Eatery. We will see you soon.
