Phenomenal experience and amazing food! The soup of the day (fall harvest) was absolutely delicious, the scallops were cooked bang on, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend to anyone, very well done!

What a fantastic hidden gem. Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast here. All the food we saw come out of the kitchen looked delish. Will definitely be back to try dinner as the menu has so much to choose from. You can tell the pride of ownership comes through in the food. Very eclectic restaurant, appears to have African influences. The place from outside looked tiny but it has a large seating capacity which filled up quickly but the service was not affected.

EXCELLENT! What a wonderful night with incredible food. Best place for an amazing meal in Brentwood Bay. We had the trio apay and then lamb shank, Thai green curry, sunflower burger and all the desserts that were melt in your mouth. That is the best tiramisu I’ve ever had and the crème brûlée was soooo smooth. We’ll be back for sure! Wow!

Such a quaint & lovely place! I used to come here years ago - still have pics from New Years Eve 2000! We had excellent food & attentive service. Only bummer was getting stung x2 outside fm wasps & having to move everything inside. Nobody's fault - they def tried to deal w them & let us know in advance - just would've been nice to be offered s/t as an anti- ouch!! compensation split a dessert orveven an ice pack. 🤪🐝🍰

We were on a day-trip from Vancouver to Victoria and we stopped at this place for breakfast before heading out to the city. The place is a local Café and we loved the homely vibes. We tried the French toast and the chicken which was Mediterranean style. I also tried the chicken soup which was flavorful and had the quantity of chicken was good. The owner/server was very polite and she also helped us with areas to visit nearby. I would definitely recommend this café. to anyone visiting Vancouver island. -@foodisfuel23

We ate 3 different burgers and all were delicious and unique. The atmosphere of the place was amazing and friendly. Highly recommended, all the food had special taste I think the spices were from North Africa ,Mediterranean and Arabic spices.but I am not sure, they were lovely .

Had a shrimp and avocado salad and marco polo cashew chicken fettuccine. The food was good. Cashew fettuccine was not I was expecting, but it was great. Coriander flavor might be like curry or Thai food, but creamy cashew was well blended this flavor. Enjoyed all dishes.

The food was fantastic! Lots of flavour and cooked perfectly. The server was nice and the atmosphere was very cool. I very much recommend the pita and hummus, they were absolutely delicious.

Exceptionally friendly staff and delightful cuisine! Super cozy decor that made us feel like we were worlds away! All of the food was perfectly spiced and prepared. I appreciated having some yummy vegetarian options and that the falafels platter could be made gluten free by pairing it with papadam (instead of pita). My 3 year old was having a challenging afternoon after a big morning at the gardens, and just as we were about to bring her outside to calm her down, the chef sprinted to our table with a big smile, engaged her and little sister in a counting game and brought us back coloring supplies. It was such a relief and so nice to have such kindness shown towards our kiddos and fam and we deeply appreciated the extra effort.
