The Prairie Inn Pub is just down the road from us and is our place of choice for pub food, however, I have to say that we have never had better fish and chips anywhere in Victoria as we had tonight! Everything was outstanding, the place was jam-packed but that didn't show... the great service and friendliness from all the servers was outstanding. Carol was our drinks lady and really impressed us when she arrived with a flask of hot water to top up one of our glasses (crazy I know drinking hot lemon water, but that's another story-lol)... Seriously though, where have you ever had that? I have to give this fabulous pub a 5 Star rating! we couldn't fault it - and to top it off; the barman acknowledged us as we passed on our way out with a super friendly smile and a "Have a good one, folks!" Well done to the owners, managers and staff!

If you dare to try the BELLY BUSTER hold on to your god damn pants, because you won't be able to walk afterwards!!! Ask for an extra plate to put your burger on and DO NOT TAKE THE TOOTHPICKS OUT!!!
Service could be a bit more attentive, please provide coasters to the patrons so it doesn't make a mess on a glass table ;(
This was a very cozy neighborhood pub. If you love sports then this is the place for you. Always has the sound on and always has multiple games going. You can play keno here too. Food is pretty decent. Wouldn't recommend eggs benny but other breakfast was good.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Service was exceptional, food was amazing and ambiance incredible. Prairie fries.... You need these! Definitely coming back here as often as we can!
The food was very good. I had the seafood Monte Cristo sandwich. It was huge and enough curly fries for two hungry people. I took half of my meal home for another meal.
The Clubhouse was soo big that my friend had trouble opening his mouth wide enough to take a Bite!
We really enjoyed the rustic interior as well.
Excellent food and great service! We’re always on a hunt for a good Caesar and it was delicious here. We had the fish taco starter, Prairie Inn fries, and fish & chips everything was fantastic and the portions were huge! Highly recommend this place!!
Service was excellent, super friendly greeting from who I think was the owner right off the bat. Serving staff super genuinely friendly and helpful. Fish & chips were awesome and huge helpings. A great supper on the patio!
Great place to eat the food is outstanding staff amazingly freindly. We had the breakfast which was a hardy meal and tasty! Loved the bacon from the Red Barn with the potatoe slices and two eggs. Ny wife had the egg Bennies which were great. Always great meals everytime we go there from the mainland!!
Good old-fashioned pub food and solid care were taken with preparation. The staff were friendly and good considering how busy it was with some larger groups coming and few customers having some interpersonal conflict. They navigated the situations very well, and we had a great lunch.

Generous portions of food, which was delicious. #1 favourite is the Turkey Dip sandwich: turkey piled high, perfectly soft-yet-slightly-crunchy stuffing, tangy cranberry sauce, topped with Swiss cheese. Sturdy bun that holds together and doesn't disintegrate part way through meal. Crispy, coated chips.
