Food was good. Ribeye Medium Chicago style was delicious. Good ambiance, no highchair, def not too kid friendly however, server was great at accommodating with serving their meals first. (Mac & Cheese sides were the only option) Sides were delicious, scalloped potatoes and creamy corn were our fav.
When you step in this place, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Soft music plays in the background, and the lighting is low and intimate. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time, to an era when fine dining was an art form. The decor has been carefully considered, from the vintage chandeliers to the plush upholstery. You'll feel relaxed and at ease, ready to enjoy a wonderful meal.
The extremely friendly staff will guide you through a menu of classic dishes with a modern twist, each prepared with care and attention to detail. Whether you're looking for a casual evening out or a special celebration, you’ll enjoy every detail of it.
After you're done with your sumptuous meal, and you're feeling full and satisfied, the server approaches your table, and asks if you'd like to see the dessert menu. What do you say? 😄 Yes, of course!
So, the server brings the dessert menu, and you're faced with a mouth-watering array of options. From rich chocolate cake to delicate crème brûlée, there's something for every sweet tooth 🍰
It was extremely good food. Good rib eye with fries and super sauce and got salmon and salad. The best we had on our 18 day round trip. Best service too,,, it took a little vile before food came,,, However, the restaurant was a little too cold for my taste and the music a little too loud for a date
Great experience! Food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Service by Dean was fantastic! Coming from Ontario my goal was to have a proper Alberta steak and they did not disappoint! Will be back next time I’m in town.
What a fabulous establishment! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, my partner and I were very impressed with all of the attention to detail that Vintage Chophouse put into creating a wonderful experience. From ironing the table clothes, to switching our cutlery between courses, every aspect of the customer experience was thought out.
Our server J-C was informative, friendly, well-informed and kind. If you can request him, I would definitely push you to sit in his section! Lastly (and most importantly), the food was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, they were to die for! We both look forward to coming back the next time we are in Calgary.
Everything about this steakhouse is great🤩🤩
Upon entering, we were greeted by a lovely lady, led to a table and offered a menu. The waiter made a presentation of the meat, told and advised what to choose)))
Waiting time takes approximately 30-40 minutes! And then we enjoyed amazing meat☺️ Thank you very much for a wonderful evening!!!
Pretty nice experience (first time) for dinner the other night. Had the powerhouse for 2, wedge salad, Tuna nicoise, scalloped potatoes. The steak was not HOT when it arrived which was a little disappointing but overall pretty tasty. Service was awesome. Lots of parking nearby. Would probably go back.
Good steak. Tender and juicy. Ordered the New York bone-in one. The weight and price has been increased notify by the server. The mushroom is great, but the bacon scallops potato is very basic taste. Also the happy hour sides “truffle loaded fries” is also very good. But we finished it before taking the photo.
Very good service and great steak. Server S-Constantin was very professional and show passionate when introducing the steaks and answers a lot of questions that I was asking about the steak. Very good experience. I would definitely recommend this place as first choice of steakhouse in Calgary.
Spent my birthday here at Vintage to try out their Cowboy Ribeye and amazing service. We were welcomed by Stephen, who were so professional and have the qualities of a cheerful guy with lots of great skills in his pocket. All the vintage crew wrote something for me in my birthday card and I totally appreciated it. I asked them specifically to put us on a quiet side of the room beside the window and they happily granted. The vibe was very intimate with dim lights and soft music (dining area). We didn’t wait for our orders for that long and really surprised by their fast service, considering we ordered a big slab of meat. Their Cowboy Ribeye was enormous with good marbling of fats. We should have told them ‘medium well’ cause their medium rare grill was still a bit raw for our liking. Texture was smooth like butter in my mouth and oozing with smoky char flavour. Obviously we didn’t get to finish it and just ate the leftover meat and bones for our brunch the next day. We also got a side of Truffle Mac and Cheese and Lobster mashed potato. Mac n Cheese was amazingly savoury with good amount of melted cheese, truffle sauce and firm macaroni pasta. Lobster mashed potato was a little bland for our liking and just packed it for to-go and finish it the next day. The best part of the night was when they surprised me with a birthday Baked Alaska cake, with sparkling candle! The cake is made of strawberry gelato, vanilla icing, white chiffon cake, covered with blow-torched meringue. You should try this for dessert!! I’d be happy to go back and experience it all over again! :)
