You had me at ... everything. Their wine list is off the charts, with wine even on tap! The food is to die for (short rib penne... omg). The staff treats you like family, and the GM and managers deserve awards for their level of care. Blerim, the gm, now this guy REALLY cares. He remembers details and is super genuine. This is the "Cheers" of 2017 where everyone knows your name, and you can't help but want to come back ALL THE TIME!
Good food, very good service; nice ambiance and decoration, sympatic, attendant, courteous and helpful staff; highly recommend their Steak Burger. We had our marriage anniversary meal there as both my wife and I like it and go there as often as we can.
The happy hour pizza is a great choice.. The variety of pasta's are amazing, The short rib penne and the Linquine with meatballs, I would have again in a heartbeat. My friend had the half caesar and the salmon side. She raved about them.
Great happy hour specials. The chicken scewers are great. The steak fantastic
Staff are great. Go, you will not be disappointed.
I always enjoy Merchants when we drop in for a bite. I've been here several times, and everything we've tried on the menu has been somewhere between good and excellent. My personal favorite is the fish and chips. Their take is modern, light and very tasty. Parking: 3/5. Service: 4/5. Presentation: 4/5. Ambience: 4/5. Portion Size: 4/5 Flavors: 4/5. Value: 5/5
Was here for dinner a few times and it is quite lively with good drinks and daily specials. Food is average with a good variety of salads, pastas, pizzas and appis to choose from. Not a bad place to go to after work to wind down.
I enjoyed this place. The food is good. I enjoyed the tuna tartar the most. The patio is lovely and comfortable and quite busy. They have good specials check the website. The service could use improvement but for the most part it’s ok, just ask for what you need. The 3 times I’ve been here the food came out pretty quickly considering the restaurant was full. I will go back especially a Saturday when a big glass of wine is on for the small glass price. ;)
I've been meaning to go here for a while, and I'm glad we did. I liked just about everything about Merchants. The patio looked very inviting. If it wasn't so hot, we would definitely have chosen to eat there, but we opted for some cooler air inside. You have your choice of traditional bench booths, half-moon booths, tables and bar-side. The restaurant looked comfortable and well appointed while not coming across as stuffy. Our service was great with the servers being very patient with our indecision while choosing food and drinks, checks on our table, prompt attention, and goodbyes from the staff when we left. Everything was done right, and done well with the exception that the mains could have been delayed another 10 minutes for us to complete our appetizers. A minor flaw, and our server apologized for the timing. We had the truffle chips and lettuce wraps for appetizers. Both were good. For mains, the fish and chips and two different pasta dishes fit the bill and everyone seemed to enjoy them. It would be helpful to have some lighter entries on the menu for the hot days of summer, but in that regard I have no one to blame but myself for selecting the tasty but heavy (for a hot summer day) Short Rib Penne.
We all walked away pleased.
Very surprised! For a pub, this place is very nice. Menu is a little all over the place, but that said, the food is terrific. Pleasant staff have always gone out of their way to show they care.
Atmosphere was great.
Service was efficent and friendly.
Food was real good.
We ordered a large Ceasar salad, hot wings, the meatballs and lettuce wraps. All were great. I especially liked the Ceasar salad. Enough dressing. Real bacon. Huge portion. 2 meatballs. My friend enjoyed those! The goat cheese was a good touch.
The lettuce wraps were ok. The lettuce felt a little warm and real thin, but we ate it. Overall we were happy and left satisfied.
As a family of 4 (2 small kids) but always try to go out, were very happy merchants is in the area. The serving staff cater very well to the kids, and they do a great job otherwise. Food wise, it's solid. Not outstanding, but certainly respectable, and won't leave you disappointed. We often end up sharing among the family, with the Mac and Cheese being a staple. For a local pub, they do a solid job. Their daily specials are good, and $4 beer during happy hour is as good as you can find. On top of all that, their brunch for the area may be the best part. Good food, and kids get a free pancake meal that is the best they'll get anywhere for free. Very happy to have this place in the area. It's a weekly go-to for us, either in the morning, or late afternoon.
My husband and I had supper here last night on the patio. Service was fast and friendly. They were pretty busy and table turn over was efficient. The food was just ok. Nothing really stood out. We had Tuna tar-tar and the Tuna and potato gnocchi. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service. I would go back to try other menu items but it was slightly expensive for the quality of food.
Came here for our monthly girls dinner club. Service was great, the food was not as I remembered since the last time I was there a year ago. The tuna tartar was pretty bland, last time was way tastier that is why I ordered it this time. They have $10 pizzas on Sundays. My friend got the carbonara and said it was ok. I got the Baja chicken salad and it was pretty tasty.
