Amazing food!! And wonderful staff!! Went there last night with my husband and we tried 3 appetizers and we both ordered the mussels and fries and shared the cheesecake dessert. All of it were incredible, so satisfying to eat! Love the atmosphere and the service was awesome as well! Will definitely be going back!
Recently had my birthday dinner at Purlieu and it was an enjoyable experience, albeit not the most memorable.
The food was rich and flavorful (appetizers: escargot, steak tartare, & calamari, entrees: lamb, tagliatelle, & mussels) and visually appealing but the saltiness was overpowering in some dishes and portions were quite small.
Space is limited in the restaurant so it was a little difficult to feel some of that intimacy that you want when dining out for a birthday dinner.
Not sure if I will be back anytime soon but im glad that we tried it!
Our dinner experience at Purlieu was first class. The service and atmosphere are lovely, it feels like very authentic French cuisine. My Arctic char entree was so well cooked, it was incredibly tasty. Would recommend to anyone looking for a slightly more upscale French bistro!

Went here for an anniversary dinner and it was wonderful service and really tasty food. My partner kept saying how flavourful the broth was for the mussels (also generous portion size!). We enjoyed the calamari and beef tatare, was fresh and nicely seasoned. My duck confit was good! Such a great gem in the Oakridge SW area.
Went here tonight for my wife's birthday. Excellent all around. Great atmosphere, incredible service, excellent food. And doesn't totally break the bank. We'll be going back often. So rare to find a place like this in the 'burbs.
