We went for lunch and dinner there yesterday as it was the Western final between Calgary and Edmonton which Calgary won! On to the Grey Cup they go so when we were there we shared a Mac and Cheese with bacon and green onion.. talk about tasty! And in between lunch and dinner we had a couple drinks then at supper we had some wings with me having the maple and bacon flavoring.. a little too much maple syrup but I just drained the excess and they were delicious. My partner I believe had the mild bbq which still had a good kick to them he said. Overall great experience! Thanks so much guys!
I've been a regular at Jameson's since it opened. They have always had outstanding food and service. A great place to watch sports as they have many televisions and a nice seating layout. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Went into Jameson’s today with 5 friends to celebrate a birthday and was served by Bella F. She was fantastic. She was extremely attentive and friendly. I’m not sure if she was part of management but she acted very professional. She was also lovely to talk to. Food is always great and was happy to get a student discount.
What a fabulous pub. Lot's of specials on food and drink. You should be able to do quite well, even at popular times like Friday/Saturday evening with the deals they have on. The environment is very pleasant and the service staff was attentive. Price and quality of the food was fantastic. Although I didn't have it, they have a chocolate cake that they claim will feed 3 or 4 people - they're not lying. I think I counted 7 layers and it was at least 6" across the back of the cake. Looked delicious. I had the shepherd's pie. A good helping of home-made quality food. And it came with some glazed root vegetables on the side. My friend enjoyed his steak sandwich. What's not to like? I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in this area of town.
Their gourmet breakfast items are incredible. Very innovative dishes with pulled duck or ham, other innovative ingredients are fiore di latte, potato wedges, essence of truffle in their hollandaise sauce. Love their breakfasts.
The coffee could be better, it's consistently weak and could be stronger.
Otherwise, their breakfasts keep me coming back once a month at least.

Love the setting, it's as close to an authentic Irish pub as it gets in CTown. Beautiful wood work, cozy booths, some have TVs. Food is decent -- I wish it was more authentic but it's a common complaint. I've spent time in the UK and I know what authentic pub food is -- chicken wings aren't. That said we went on mussels night. Over cooked -- I'm not expecting gourmet -- but the price was right and they hit the spot.
This place has pretty good pub food and a decent menu selection. I had the veggie burger on a pretzel bun and although very tasty - was hard to eat because it was stacked so high. The food came out quickly and the waitress was nice and fun to talk to.
The prices were decent too for the quality/portions you get. (14 + tax for the veggie burger & side)
If I was in that neighborhood again I'd return.
Pretty decent food for a pub. Have enjoyed the chicken leek boxty, the fish tacos and a steak sandwich or two. Pretty good beer selection too (trying not to make this a theme of my reviews but... it is a pub after all).
Was here Saturday night with 9 people. Everyone had an excellent meal. The burgers were favorites. We have always had good food here. We'll be back.
Awesome place to eat at! Great ambiance and friendly servers. Great selection Of beers. We all enjoyed our meals and would get them again. highly recommended !!! The best in the area.
Food is good could be substantially better. Service OK but nothing spectacular. Good beer selection if you like the "domestics". Overall not a bad place but not great. A few small changes and this could be great.
This is an irish pub dont get the fish tacos!!! Who does that? Its like complaining about a steak house not having good vegetarian options! Get the Sheppards pie you will not be disappointed, large portions and great service, one of the better places by the uni to catch a game!
Great lunch spot. It was not too busy. There are a few VLT’s so you can throw in some money while you are waiting for your food. Our server was very friendly. The washrooms were clean.
Went for Wednesday wing night. Wings are $0.69 each and ordered the Cajun, maple hot, lemon pepper, and honey garlic. Maple hot wasn't very spicy, tasted like Frank's hot sauce and the Cajun tasted more like ketchup with some Cajun seasoning. Would recommend lemon pepper and honey garlic flavors.

I have not been to Jamesons for close to 2 years and I have to say they REALLY upped their food game. I had the Philly Cheese Steak Dip with fries and it was delicious. The bread was fresh and warmed, the meat was tender and the fries cooked to perfection. But the finale stole the show. The four of dived into this huge (the menu indicates it feeds 4 people) chocolate cake and it was pure chocoholic bliss....
Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Veggie burger was amazing. Fresh tasty and one wants to have more.
For non alcoholic beverages there are few juices and ice tea.
It was amazing. Love the atmosphere.
Great food, great staff. It was St Patrick day so lots of fun. Nice music. I will be back for sure.
Food and drinks were very good. Service satisfactory. Our Waitress Sara was nice, polite, and very quick to bring our food.
Great atmosphere, lots of TV’s, good selections of foods and drinks.
The only thing i would like to change is to turn up the heat as it was a little cold inside by the windows.
