We were told that Original Joes on Stephen Avenue was a great place for a Sunday Burger Tour in #YYC.
We showed up around 2pm and scanned the menu for choices, I chose The A.C.E Cheese Burger with quinoa salad & fries with gravy.
Ace stands for American Classic Edition it comes with two farm rasied, hormone free- locally sourced lean beef patties griddled not grilled with the american cheddar sandwiched in between. The veggies were clean & cripsy which included Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Pickles & House made burger sauce on a soft sourdough bun.
The burger had lots of flavor and the cheese really had a home run amongst the veggies, the bun was holding it all together well and was soft & chewy which complemented the contents of the Ace Burger.
The side quinoa salad along with fries & gravy were the best tasting side dishes we've had on our Burger Tours so far! Good job OJ's!!
The pub had a nice sky light with Sunday sunshine coming through, friendly staff, BBall game on the bar screens & pouring silver tequila by Avion.

Service was top notch and the food was incredibly good! The music is a little loud but you’re still able to talk to the people you are with.
Had a very nice lunch with my wife. Our server Kaylene went above and beyond as we needed to change tables, done quickly and efficiently. Food was great, the steaks were done to perfection and the prices were a pleasant surprise. Thank you.
I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to visit a place that my uncle spent so much time at when he first helped get it started...
One of the OG OG's where the Patio Joe was created in 98/99.
The communal tables are great for bigger groups, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Great food and courteous service. Small but varied menu our choices were excellent, Fish Tacos and Pacific Rim Soup.
Came in twice today. Not only did the bartender whom has only served us once remembered our drinks and delivered the same amazing service as we got the first time. After spending the weekend downtown I would say that original joes had the best service and waitstaff on the strip. Keep up the amazing work we will definitely come back here every time we come to Calgary.
My fave place to go after work! Always good vibes and amazing service. Jay behind the bar is attentive and super fun - an absolute beaut human being. Food is YUMBOOOO and the overall atmosphere just hits right folks... Highly recommend this lil' cozy pub!
