Came here for lunch in Sunday. Was a little worried about parking as the street gets pretty full in Sundays after circling twice I noticed a back parking area. Very convenient.

I made rez on open table which is very convenient. We were seated right away. There is a good selection of Ramen (hot and cold) and selection of sushi and rolls.

We ordered shoyu special, ship, and miso ramens. All were excellent. Noodles were curly and al dente. I particularly like the shoyu broth. Least like but still enjoyed the shio. I was worried about the taste since they use chicken broth but was pleasantly surprised. Each bowl had pork belly and pork medallions - yum. The shio and miso had soft boiled eggs - yummy. Not as much veggies as other places but plenty flavour which is what counts. We ended with pineapple coconut ice cream which was good.

Relaxed atmosphere and great service. They also have happy hour specials so will have to come back.

I liked the addition of kale. Non-traditional but I thought the hearty greens worked well with the salty broth and generous amount of meat. The noodles were chewy and plentiful. The portion was so big I didn’t finish all my ramen. L was shocked. A first for me.

Nice place in Kensington if want to have Japanese cuisine. We tried the fried baby crabs, loved it and they serve good ramen. Pleasant place for a nice evening meal.
