If you are looking for great food and service at really good pricing then you should try green bamboo
A decent pho restaurant. The soup was very hot and it has a good amount of tender beef slices. I like the broth, as it doesn't has a strong taste/smell of cinammon, cardamom and star anises. I also ordered spring rolls, it was crispy and pretty good.
Not bad. I had the pho tai, large bowl. Pretty good. Very small shop. The menu looks like it has some other things to try. I’d come back here if I was in the area craving a rainy day bowl of pho.

• they have the usual like pho, buns, rice & viand
• Pho was good, nice, hot and fresh but I find their serving is smaller than other Pho places
• its Authentic Vietnamese cuisine
• good service; stay as long as you can; its a good place to meet a friend and have a nice talk
• parking along the street or at the back of the resto
I think all this time, i've passed through this place a gazillion times, and never in my mind that i would actually go in here, but i gotta wonder how did this place stayed in here over 5+ years when the competition in the area is quite hard actually, for a commoner, there're so many vietnamese restaurants along kingsway, and sushi, taiwanese food, food court, that the area is just simply blessed with many awesome restaurants. Those who are good stays, but those who aren't they'll have a hard time keeping up. although there are a couple restaurants that i enjoy but closed down as well :( so then then pho over here is great, definitely above average, the best pho? hmmm not quite but definitely in the upper half. the sandwhich was definitely okay as well. definitely worth the price they are serving.
I've never really had pho before so I can't really compare. We order the house special and the #3. The broth was hot and the beef was super tender. I also ordered the lemongrass chicken, it was crispy and tasted really good. I also tried the spring rolls, the filling was well seasoned and delicious. There isn't much seating at this place and they only take cash. I would come here again.
Holy msg! Bf and I decided to try this place after a long night of drinking. He ordered #1 pho special and I got the bun bo hue and you can see the msg floaies and bits in the soup. The meat was marbly and the chicken balls tasted like they were about to go bad. The only good thing was the appy lemongrass chicken wings we ordered. The meat was so tender and succulent that the bones pretty much fell off. If I were to come back it would be for the wings and maybe try their salad rolls or Banh Mis.
There’s a short-lived tradition that I have with a close friend, we don’t see each other often but when we do we always go for Pho. We have tried some old haunts and have sometimes discovered new ones, and that was the case when we “discovered” a little place called Green Bamboo Viet Noodle near Metrotown, outside the Crystal Mall on Willingdon.

After our honeymoon in Vietnam, my husband and I have been crazy about Pho! We have lived in the neighbourhood of Green Bamboo for years and never checked it out until this afternoon - what a revelation!
The shop may not look like much, but we were both blown away by the quality of our meals. The portions are HUGE! I ordered the house special dish with meatballs, tendon, flank steak and tripe. First impressions - the broth was savory and tasty and there was plenty of deliciously tender meat and noodles in the bowl. My husband had to help me finish the bowl off, and he loved it as well.
We thought that it was an incredible value for the meal - more than we could eat for a fairly modest price (20 bucks after tax and tip- less than a standard fast food meal) The service was very prompt and friendly.
I would have given this little hole in the wall a higher rating, but it's definitely 'bare bones' in terms of decor and space. I wouldn't try to bring a group here, but it was perfect for dinner for two on a quiet Friday night.
Attached to Crystal Mall, this is the one Vietnamese restaurant that my parents and I often visit. The good food & decent prices make up for the poor ambience and lack of service! This is a good place to get a quick meal, however probably not the place if you are looking for a comfortable & relaxing environment where you can hang out and talk with friends.
