Perfect location - right across the courtyard from my gym, and yoga studio! Very affordable and probably the BEST Crispy Rolls I've had to date ..and I've eaten my fair share of sushi! (:
I'm impressed. You are greeted by friendly staff. The rolls are very fresh as indicated by the name of their store. They are quick and the food is quite excellent. I ordered the house roll and the crispy roll. They were delicious. I'd definetly come back. The washroom is clean FYI .
EXECELLENT TAKE OUT SUSHI. A tiny sushi place at Highgate Mall by the Save-On. There isn't much room for dining in but for take out orders, they are fast & the quality of the sushi in my opinion is great. Their BC rolls & spicy salmon or tuna rolls are fantastic & the price is right. The only trouble I have here is that my favourite menu item is actually not on the menu. This is the Maguro Age. It's written on a white board with some other specials to the right of cashier & it's hard to notice.
Quick, Fresh and Easy.... For a relatively small space, Fresh Box certainly churns out the orders in a timely manner, much of it for to-go or pre-ordered customers. While in the neighborhood around the lunch hour, stopped in for a quick sample - a 3pc nigiri set and a skinny California roll for under $7 inclusive of taxes. Not bad tasting though the rice was not well seasoned, but the fish itself was fresh. For what it is, a quick in-and-out sushi joint for those on the go, it fits the bill and a welcome change from competing sandwich-to-go places out there.
Fresh Box Sushi is a tiny hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Highgate Mall. There’s only 3 small tables in this narrow establishment with a small sushi bar and 1 table outside but i think they do a lot of takeout business.
