The tofu stew is a must, it's SO good!!! This is hands down my favourite Korean place ever! Nothing in Vancouver compares, this is my new go to. Clean restaurant and nice staff (although the restaurant may be a little hard to find, it's on the left side slightly behind the mall).

After squash, we were ready for some late night fuel. We decided to check out one of the many Korean spots in the area; I’d asked a buddy for recommendations and decided to go with House of Tofu Soup. It’s located beside Sulmida Dessert Cafe. We dropped in on a Thursday evening (around 8:00pm). The place was packed! The inside is huge, which we weren’t expecting from the outside. Service is friendly and they refill their banchan if you ask. One of the waiters unexpectedly chatted with us when we were paying.

I really like the sweet potato there. I always choose a combo including tofu soup and teriyaki chicken. Generally, it’s a good place to hang out with friends cuz it’s cheap and service is good.

Honestly the absolute best Korean food I’ve had. The taste is homey and the staff are very attentive. The side dishes and the soup are consistently good and you can really order any dish and it will always be fantastic. Love it! The bathroom is a little strange though.

House of Tofu is a Korean restaurant in Burquitlam that specializes in soft tofu stew (Soon Du Bu Jigae). They’ve been in business for over a decade at the same spot and they’re consistently busy regardless of the day of the week! The restaurant is located on North Road with a small parking lot at the front shared with other small businesses. If the lot is full (which usually is), you can easily park at the main plaza below and walk up to the street level. Alternatively, you can make the drive further down North Road and park at their underground lot as well. I like to visit this place once in a while with the boyfriend as we both love the combination of soup and rice.

This place doesn’t seem to be very well known, it barely has any parking at all, but it’s the best Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. Feels very homie and authentic. Kimchi is amazing. Their plain tofu soup is heaven, especially if you’re not feeling well. Potato pancake is so amazing. Their service is great and they give you a big portion for the price. The best.

Came here for lunch recently. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly. The tofu soup was quite flavorful. The rice came with hot stone pot. The side dishes were good as well.

The House of Tofu soup is located on North Rd Burnaby, which is 10 mins away from Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station. It’s one of my favourite Korean Restaurant in the Great Vancouver area. The restaurant was owned by Korean Family. It’s famous for the Tofu Soup. My friend and I always went this restaurant for lunch because the food here is very cheap. We ordered the Kimchi Strew and Tofu Soup. They came with two big bowls of rice and three small cold dishes. They are a very great deal. The soup is hot, fresh, and super tasty. I highly recommend people to have a try at The House of Tofu Soup Restaurant.

A few weeks ago, my family along with another friend decided to visit K-town in Burquitlam for a food adventure. With a dessert-first mentality, the main focus of our trip was to visit Standing Egg Coffee for coffee and treats. Working backwards from sweet to savoury, we then proceeded to House of Tofu Soup for some comfort foods. My friend was particularly eager to visit House of Tofu soup because she had been a fan of their food at their now-closed Richmond location.

House of Tofu Soup is one of the old standbys for places to go for Korean food for me. It’s been around since I was in high school, and it’s always so nostalgic to eat here!. It’s about a ten minute walk from Lougheed Skytrain station, and I recommend the walk because there is very few parking spots available outside the restaurant.
