This was our second time here. We LOVE coming. It has now become our spot to celebrate our anniversary. The food last night was unbelievable!!! We ordered the pre fix menu! It was great to try different options and for a great price as well. Our favourite spot has become the booth in the upper dining area. See you again soon, thanks for the great food/drinks and memories. 5 star for sure!
Everything from servers owners and food and the specialty coffee made for us at the end of the night absolutely outstanding thank you for making our special night out 1 to remember I would highly recommend the lord Nelson to anyone looking for a exceptional place to go for a great night out
The King of Fine Dining in Burlington!. There's a reason why this restaurant has been around as long as it has. I have been several times through out the years. My brother and I have had a tradition to always order the escargot for our appetizers here since we were kids. Superb fine dining experience every time!
I walked through the door expecting to see a stuffy old steak house, but was pleasantly surprised to see a modish interior. Once at my table, the waiter brought over a basket of garlic bread, along with pickles, chicken pate and kalamata olives. I find these pre-appetizer snacks common at traditional steak restaurants. The chicken liver pate was creamy, with just the right amount of grainy earthiness and seasoning. The garlic bread had a parmesan cheese crust that tasted like it came right out of the supermarket. Next came lightly battered, pan-fried calamari served with the chefs secret sauce (I'm thinking, pickles, shallots, mustard, honey and a little mayo) not bad. The calamari was piping hot, crisp bite sized pieces didn't need dipping, they shined on their own, melting in your mouth.
