Few restaurants impress me, Mythos was one of the ones to do it, when I came here we decided to get the Grecian (Platter for Two) and add an additional person for $15 and what ended up coming was a huge platter of food that ending up feeding all of us for dinner and an additional three meals the next day.
For me personally, the Gyros was the highlight of the dish, the next best part I feel was the Breaded Kalamari which is something I appreciate as I often taste overcooked rubber calamari which was not the case here. I ended up sampling all of the rest of the various components that made up the Grecian which the worst being the Sausage which was mostly flavorless in comparison to everything else.
The rice was great, it was even better on day 2 and it made me want to come back here again but the prices are rather high for me to come as often as I wish I could. I'm happy I listened to my Aunt & Mothers recommendation to come here. I also have to take a minute to comment on the service, our waiter (whose name I forgot, younger gentleman) was very polite, he checked on us several times at good moments and made conversation that made the experience better, we were also visited by the owner/chef of the restaurant to make sure our meal was up to our/his standards which it was.
I would highly recommend Mythos, :)
One of those hidden gems... not a big place, so it helps to call and make reservations. The food is beyond awesome! Portions are very generous so make sure you go hungry. Waiters are friendly and helpful in explaining the food on the menu.
This is a place where I will definitely return.
If anyone loves Greek food, this is the place to go!
I’ve been searching for a great Greek spot and finally found it. The dips were my favourite - I could’ve eaten just them for dinner. The Saganaki was a lot of fun and deliciously crispy. Can’t wait to go back.
My family and I had our first visit to Mythos last week. I was a bit nervous because some of the reviews are not great. But after my visit, I can say this is the best Greek food in the area. The service was perfect: they let you enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. If you are in a hurry, go to Jimmy the Greek. The menu has an excellent variety. The ingredients were super fresh and top quality. Presentation was really good . All in all, an excellent meal with excellent service and a really nice atmosphere. A special mention for Ana, our server who understands great service and the concept of enjoying your meal and time out.
The food is amazing, fresh, delisious, original.. I have eaten here several times and its always amazing. I recently took my son when he came to see me. He was very impressed.
The staff is welcoming and friendly and knowable about wine, and the menu. Then.... I dropped in to pick up a take out order and I met the Owner, Chef, Andreas .. He is warm, and kind, and loves what he is doing, he has a real passion for his food, he treats everyone like a friend, and you are enveloped in his world of making everyone happy.. The atmosphere is terrific, and Andreas, has the best crew helping him, and they really like there jobs.
This is an experience that you should treat yourself too.
Thank you.
My first trying the greek food at Mythos..loved it...I was taken there as a bday lunch by my friend Erin Beevor...I loved the chicken souvlaki...but my favorite was the feta cheese cake...yes to die for ...created by Chef Andreas Yerondais
We ate here for the first time and have already texted several friends to tell them about the wonderful food and good service. My husband said that his moussaka was the best he has ever eaten. My sea bass was wonderful. I had never had it prepared like that.
We will return. Thank you for such a wonderful Greek meal!
