We enjoyed our meal at the Stone House Restaurant. The crunchy kale salad was absolutely my favorite. We will drive there from Cambridge again for sure. The ambience was great as well as the very good service. We absolutely recommend this place.
I will easily and gladly post my very positive comments of my experience to Stone House Restaurant. There were 6 in my "party". Our waitress was Vanessa and she was amazing - personable, attentive, informed, expressive, guiding, - - all the traits we needed as a group. The service to our table was quick and without error. The meal - all the meals being different - pleased us all. To of the party have never (!) ordered chicken in a restaurant before, were moved to do so here, and loved the meal. We all spoke of the large portions. I don't know what this says other than the kitchen staff did an amazing job - we all finished every scrap on the plate. Thanks all - well done. We celebrated my son's 21st birthday here and it was an amazing experience! The very pleasant and knowledgeable waiter offered suggestions which were well received! Food as always was prepared to perfection! My son was also given a complimentary dessert, with spoons for all to share. It was scrumptious!! Thanks to all who made this a special occasion!
Great food Everytime! We have been going here for years and it seems like it only gets better. The muscles with spicy tomato sauce was amazing and we could happily eat 2 orders for the whole meal. Would recommend to anyone who visits. Also the Mount Vesuvius souffle is always cooked perfectly. Warm baked outside with a soft molten center.

When you first drive into the plaza where this restaurant is, you can’t help but wonder if you’re at the right place (sorry, owners - the street sign is very old!)…but once you’re parked and walk into the restaurant, you are good! This very unassuming looking restaurant literally had some of the best tasting and filling seafood I’ve had in a long time! My friends and I tried the coconut shrimp and calamari from the hot appetizers part of the menu, and ordered the seared tuna salad and catch of the day which was rainbow trout and came with risotto. Everything was delicious and our waiter, Laura, was lovely as well! Will definitely come back with family!

Located just south of the QEW on Walkers line Burlington at the bottom of an old hotel Jakes has been around since I was a kid!
How can you forget the old but warm interior of this place, I wouldn’t call it classy but certainly has character.
We were greeted by the hostess, COVID vaccine checked and seated quickly, our server was pleasant and didn’t rush us, mentioning the special of the day “ grilled swordfish “ done! I went with that and it was tasty, with a big portion of fish, could of done without the applewood smoke as this fish stands out on its own, but it was good!
One of my guests had the Caesar salad, which according to her was the best she’s had at the tender age of 13, followed by the dragon sushi which was just ok. Looked good though!
My other guest had the salmon, and that was done to perfection, good portion size, great flavour.
Service was friendly, well timed, and overall a good experience and a good meal!
No complaints from the peanut gallery!
I recommend Jakes for its warm casual atmosphere and great seafood options certainly miles ahead of Red lobster lol
Great service treatment by the hospitality team. Excellent service standards. Wonderful patio experience, even during a heat wave. Oysters were fresh and fabulous with great chef prepared condiments, husband enjoyed ribs. Son enjoyed kids menu. Great restaurant dining experience for romance or family special occasion in Burlington. King crab was steamed perfectly. Menu offers affordable pricing selections. Alcohol and cocktail menu choices were delightful. Would highly recommend.
One of our favourite restaurants in Burlington hands down. Always fantastic food & service. We have never been disappointed, food is always fresh and mouth watering!!!
