We stopped in for brunch at the vermillion room. The brunch had a huge variety of foods, vegetarian options as well. Pancakes were great, the fresh whip cream was absolutely amazing!
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
This brunch buffet is absolutely worth it for the price, top quality food with a great variety.
I'll definitely come back again.
We loved it! To the point that on our second visit I couldn't help and order the short ribs for the second time... everything we tasted was absolutely amazing. Our server was chatty (definitely in a positive way), there's great ambience. I'm truly surprised this place doesn't have better rating.
We enjoyed the MOST amazing meal, everything was done to perfection. Terry, our server, was professional, personable and great at his job!!
For Brunch, the selection is great; something for everyone. Allison was a terrific server.
Had the buffet breakfast here about a week ago and the selection was great, service was excellent and the entire experience was wonderful. I was served by Neil (Lionel) and Martine, and both were very kind and made sure I had everything I needed/wanted. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar and very much enjoyed the entire experience! I would absolutely go back the next time I’m in Banff.
I'm not sure why the reviews here aren't higher, we had a lovely experience! We ordered the escargot (a little disappointing, needed more garlic and butter), the beef tartare (so amazing), cheese and charcuterie (so amazing), scallops (so amazing), the burger (so amazing), and the cheese and pasta side (so amazing). That's a lot of so amazings.
The profiteroles were also fantastic :)
I'm horribly full, and very content.
The service was also prompt, attentive, and really really great (thank you, Christen!).
PS. Try the ginger beer.
The brunch is delightfully arranged with rows of delicious food and desserts. Also special order available if you didn't see what you like on display. Superb experience.
Visited The Vermillion room for Sunday brunch this weekend. Food and service was great overall. Many of the buffet items were replenished quickly. They had a breakfast pastry station, eggs to order, dessert station, carved beef and other hot dishes. One thing to note parking is expensive at The Banff Springs ($11 an hour or $40 a day). I would recommend staying for a few hours to explore the grounds. It is truly a beautiful property.
Enjoyed our breakfast with the view and atmosphere of the dome! The dome is heated and decorated. The waitress provided great excellent customer service and helped us took a number of photos. Slight downside is somewhat overpriced here based on the food provided as compared to Fairview Lake Louise high tea.
