Wow!. I heard online that Pizza Boyz offers vegan cheese, so I knew I had to try it. I had called twice to order back in March and both times the answering machine said the restaurant was closed. Third time's a charm, because they were open tonight! I ordered a large vegetarian pizza with daiya cheese and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later the pizza was ready and the gentleman at the counter was friendly. Now... get ready for it... the price of the large pizza, which was loaded with onions, peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms alongside vegan cheese (which I know is expensive), was including tax $16!!! I really had low expectations for that price, but the crust was just the right thickness and had good flavor, and the pizza was loaded with toppings. I have never had such good-tasting pizza at such a low price! And since they charge extra for vegan cheese, a regular pizza would be even cheaper! This tiny joint on Ellice might not look like much from the street, but the warm service, tasty pizza, and unbelievably cheap prices make it my new favorite spot for pizza!
