Just went here for the first time yesterday off a recommendation from a friend. Have to say I was presently surprised. The level of service was excellent and they handmake the pizza right in front of you, similar to a Subway. They use fresh ingredients and you can even watch your pizza heat in their giant fire oven. The pizza itself was absolutely amazing! One of the best, if not the best, I have ever eaten in my life! If you find yourself in the Garden City area I would highly suggest going to check them out. Trust me it is well worth your time :)

Sorry folks, it has been a while. Rebel pizza, by far, is one fantastic place to eat! I have tried their pizzas which are great. However, I am hooked on their calzones!! The garlic butter and parmesan cheese on top is delicious and of course, the fillings are always fresh and tasty. To top it off, the customer service is impeccable and second to none! I have started to make my way through their selection of fillings and I would strongly advise you to do the same!
1st time, pizza was delicious!!!! Will recommend and return. I have no negatives. The guy ahead of me had at least 15+ toppings on his Za, LOL.
Tried this place out a few weeks ago after being excited about the build your own pizza scene in Winnipeg. The place was empty at 5pm on a Thursday. Overall nice design and clean inside. Employees were friendly and the station was clean. All toppings were stocked and they have a nice variety. I ordered pizza with a lot of vegetables, bacon, chicken, pesto sauce, and cheese. Toppings were plentiful and piled high. Price is great. I dislike how the dipping sauces are not out to help yourself. I feel annoying having to ask and question what they have, etc. The pizza overall was great. Thin crust was kind of soggy on one side so I think it could have been cooked longer. WAY better than Pronto Pizza but still not as good as Za Pizza Bistro.
If you're in a super rush this place takes a little time as it is custom made, so if there are more than 3 people ahead of you it will take 15 mins or so to get yours done. I will say it is very good and worth the wait. Similar to ZA Pizza Bistro, but I would say better. One main difference that makes it better is they put a foundation of mozzarella, then your ingredients, followed by a blend of cheese on top of that that makes it really delicious.
Like I say, it's not McDonald's fast, but you're getting a quality product for those extra few minutes.
This place is fantastic! The pizza is so delicious with a perfect crispy thin crust. It was fast and service was super friendly. Highly recommend!
I work down the street and have been there 3,4 times since opening! im kind of a pizza person...anyways i like this place because The ingredients are fresh. The staff is friendly. The set up is modern,clean and welcoming! & They build you a pizza in about 10 minutes flat.
The only negative i would say is that they were cheap on the cheese!!! i even asked for double as i like it cheesy but , it still felt like more sauce than cheese. Besides that , i plan to go back sometime this month, ill ask for extra cheese and see how it goes again. If you guys at rebel read these comments, for the love of god, cheese makes the pizza.
Stopped in at Rebel Pizza on the way home ... built my custom za, hurried home with a HOT pizza. Couldn't wait to "smash that za". All I can say is ... WOW !!! As good as it looked coming outta the box, the taste was even better. Great spicy sauce, lotsa fresh toppings, quality cheeses .. the total package!
Now the real test ... saved a couple slices for the cold pizza treat later. Definitely be back SOON !!!
Rebel Pizza has the exact same concept as Za Bistro; individual Pizza with unlimited toppings for $10.50. They also have the option for pizza off menu and breadsticks. Nice variety. I visited the restaurant at a perfect time which was shortly after lunch. There was no line or ridiculous wait time for the pizza which made me happy lol. This place was refreshing. First off, the set up is awesome. Lots of tables, chairs and space for you to wait for your pizza while it's cooking. The condiment bar and food counter was nice & tidy. And the workers were friendly and actually hard at work. My pizza was tasty and the quality of ingredients was great. You can't go wrong with a pizza you basically put together yourself. Only complaint I have is that I asked for my pizza to be cooked longer ("well done") but it seemed it be cooked regularly. I will be back!
Yum! Crust here is absolutely spectacular. Many unique toppings to choose from. Definitely will be back. Plenty more options than any other build it your pizza place, including a variety of breadsticks, salads, and desserts.
It's like a subway but for pizza. This place is fantastic. Polite and attentive service, affordable price and gluten free options at again, an affordable price. Customizable and quality food. You really get what you pay for. Plentiful seating, spacious and clean dining area.
Great prices and deals. Love that they have lots of sauce and cheese options. The pizza was so yummy. Had a nice crisp craist and the rebel cheese blend was amazing as well as the spicy pizza sauce.
Absolutely love this place, "Do It Yourself" pizza for $10.49 is unreal! The spicy sauce is out of this world and the staff are really friendly! Can't say anything bad about this place!
Great Staff to start. Toppings were fresh. We ordered 2 mediums and one was the taco pizza, it was great. Loosing a star for the crust, is just not for me. It was a little tough actually. All and all, good wood fired pizza.
The moment you walk in to this restaurant you know it's going to be good. There's a ton of seating and the seating area isn't jammed right beside the counter like other similar places. Rustic yet modern decor with lots of stainless steel. The pizza was excellent! We got the Sausage Party, Taco Fest and a Do It Your Way. The Taco Fest was my favorite as the seasoned taco meat was full of flavor! Service was top notch, with friendly, helpful staff! We will be back!
My only recommendation is to improve the sign by McPhillips. The word "pizza" is in small letters in the black underline from the "R" in Rebel and it's hard to see from the street. If I didn't already know what the place was I wouldn't know to check it out just by seeing the sign. 😀
The pizza is always, always, always awesome. We tried it first during Pizza Week and Rebel Pizza is now a favourite spot. Better and faster than fast food and made your way - the only thing better would be if I could have their pizza oven at home!
