My first visit was on their grand opening. We had many issues the first time. I sent an email to the manager explaining all the issues. They had also seen our photos and videos as the majority of the people who went were instagrammers. Darcy assured me that the issues had been fixed that night. On our second visit we found many issues had been corrected. First time, the burrata didn't have any cheese pull and was a watery mess. The second time, the first break there is watery pool, but we managed to get a fantastic cheese pull which really highlights what its supposed to be like. The arancini was good. I enjoyed the sweetbreads on my first visit, but felt it was unecessary for them to deep fry. It made it a bit too heavy in my opinion, but it would be fine for those who like deep fried foods. The cacio pepe gnocchi was better. The flavor balanced better. The first time there was a touch too much pepper, but even the texture was slightly better. It was good the first time, but it was near perfect this time. I'd skip the pizza. The crust is just not up to par. Its ok if you want pizza, but there is better in the city. The toppings placement was better the second time. The shrimp in the shrimp bolognese was improved on the second visit. The pasta noodles themselves are very interesting. The flavors on this aren't my favorite, however, it doesn't mean it isn't ok. I did not really want to order it again, but only did so because I wanted to see if they fixed the shrimp being overcooked, which they did. The caprese salad was ok. It did not stand out for me. I ordered all the dishes we had issues with (plus a few more). I was told they would fix the pizza and they wanted to invite us back to try it. I expected to be invited back more for the burrata as it was not given to us how it should have been. I paid for the meal in full. There was no discounts or replacements to rectify the previous issues we had (there was also a server issue the first time, the second time, the server was good). I am happy they had fixed the majority of the issues, but I felt like they do not care enough about the customer experience considering the amount of issues we had. I had to come back and re try all these dishes, and I did so on my own dime so that I could write this review. I would rather spend my money on newer items that I had not tried, but I wanted to give this review a fair chance. As it stood I would have given them a 2-3 (service and food rating). However, I see the effort they put in so it's a 4 for me. So I do recommend this restaurant, but if you have an issue, you can let them know and they will fix it next time you come in. It is possible they may fix it at the time, but do not complain after the fact (as I did in an email) and expect anything. Pro tip: the best thing is the tomahawk steak. Its $70 but there are other steaks in Winnipeg that cost as much but aren't as good. As well the charred broccolini is one of my favorite dishes from the menu. Parking is available in a medium sized lot.

Amazing new edition to the area and city. Went with a couple of friends not knowing what to expect and was blown away from the moment we walked in. Absolutely stunning room with a great staff and a menu that exceeded expectations. Oxtail arancini, roasted beets and gnocchi where terrific, but the carrots are so good a must order! The Fungi pizza is a new favourite and the rustico was good as well. Our server was great and we did not feel rushed. We went for a quick bite and ended up spending almost 2 hours there. We will be back for sure!!

Had the best steak in the city here! The Tomahawk was the star of the show for me. The others at the table loved the Gnocchi and the Burrata cheese ball with the bread. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great addition to the area and you can bet we will be back! 10/10

The pizzas are as beautiful to look at as they are to taste when the they come out of their shiny new wood-fire oven. The menu is super easy to follow and gives you an excellent idea of what you will be enjoying. There are five sections: starters to share, salads, pastas, meats (each serves two, with portions to match) and pizzas (one is enough for one person). The owner has also spent just as much effort on the atmosphere as the menu, where the dining room is cozy, chic, and not cramped, offering a variety of seating options to suit anyone and medium sized groups (5 to 10). Most important, the chairs are comfortable! Staff will greet you with a smile and the service is personal.

I went not really knowing what to expect, but was eager to support a local business. This was the best meal I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere is amazing. I had the bartenders choice cocktail where he came out and asked about what I normally drink. It was spot on. This is a Charleswood secret that will soon become a destination for the rest of the city.
